I had a very mixed experience here, and I am willing to bet you will, too. The first floor is mostly new items. The second floor is vintage. The store is incredibly clean and organized. Friendly but not very engaged staff. The clear upsides, in addition to the cleanliness, are the vintage selection (wide sizes, styles, materials, seasons), layout, and multiple fitting rooms. Also, very cute jewelry of average or better quality. However, the drawbacks started to add up. The new clothes were very high on the synthetics: nearly every item I looked at was close to 100% rayon or polyester. The little cotton or wool was in a small percentage. Not cute. The new items had a smaller size range -- despite the tags, the reality is they will fit a small percentage of humans. I was excited to purchase a vintage item but after I tried it on and loved it, noted that it had a stain in an obvious place. They would not do even a small price reduction in the hopes I could remove it at home.

The gorgeous owner and her friendly, knowledgeable staff helped me find an online item I’d seen that wasn’t on display at the time, really appreciated the accommodation! Awesome athletic wear, too! I grabbed a cute workout top, and it had gotten so warm, I decided to wear it out of the store. Picked up a sexy scent at the counter on my way out, too. Then…this made my day…not 10 feet out of the store, a man pulled over and rolled down his window…I thought he needed directions, so asked if I could help him. He said, “I hope you don’t mind, but I just gotta say, YOU ARE GORGEOUS . Love your swagger!” (I will say, I always swagger after a great shopping experience…lol.)

Queenie & Pearl is my go-to happy place! Before I even step inside, I have to check out their current funky window display and flip through the sidewalk sale rack filled with goodies.

Walking through the door feels like an ode to the past with a big nod to what’s hot right now! IMO, they have a knack for finding the cutest lines that give off vintage vibes, but are fresh and modern. I always walk out with either some vintage outfit inspiration or a fun, affordable piece of jewelry. Their graphic tees (& crew sets) are everything and their greeting card selection is the best around.
