I've been trying to contact anyone who works here and it feels like no one is ever around. I canceled my membership in October and I've been getting charged still ever since. Under further investigation I see also that they have been charging me twice a month for as long as I've been a member. I've called and emailed multiple times and no one ever gets back to me. I show up during office hours and no one ever seems to be there.
BEWARE!!! Canceling your membership may just put you in a financial spot! I could have used this money for bills but instead it's getting taken out of my account without my permission and I can't get it to stop or get my money back from dishonest dealings.
I would avoid this place if I were you.
In response to the owner's response. We have resolved this after a great deal of effort on my side. Despite cancelling my membership 6 months ago there are no records of this on your end and I was never sent a confirmation email so this means that I walk away worse off than when I tried to leave the first time. Instead of considering something went wrong on their end it just got put on me like I did something wrong and it cost me almost $500. If you really wanted to make this right you would have refunded me the money and left on good terms. Instead when I went in for the second time today finally finding an employee they told me the owner offered me a "lower monthly fee". In what world would a disgruntled former customer who has been trying to cancel their membership for months want to stay there?
This was just really insulting to me. You could have done so many things on your end like answering one of the many emails, calls or surveys I filled out but you didnt. You could have taken my word that something went wrong on your end because the reviews are full of stories just like mine, but you didn't. I was told I needed to go to the location that has my membership. The guy was kind and even called this location to see when staff will ve available, but l the lady that answered was rude to him, but told him staff will be available at 2pm. I went back to at 2 pm, and still no staff available. I called to see if any staff member was coming, and she told me to leave the cancelation letter with the staff of the business next door. They have charged miscellaneous, unexplained additional charges to my card beyond monthly fee and annual dues and have yet to explain what these are. I have inquired seven times in several different ways over the span of three and a half months including phone calls, emails, responding to surveys, and even a typed out letter hand delivered and have yet to have even any acknowledgment, much less explanation, of these unauthorized charges. I have been beyond patient and am at my wits end. To further in the disappointment, an employee also lied to my face and approved a membership cancellation. Took my key to the facilities and confirmed I would no longer be billed moving forward after a one time cancellation fee. I receive a phone call the next day telling me I was lied to and that I would continue to be charged $50 a month for 6 more months even though I no longer have a key to even get into any facilities.
