I’ve ordered flowers from The Petal several times over the years for birthdays and anniversaries. Last year, I ordered flowers for my mom’s 75th birthday. Several flowers in the arrangement arrived wilted, and by the next morning petals were falling off. My mom called the shop to let them know she was disappointed, and they sent a beautiful, fresh replacement bouquet. I appreciated the customer service and believed the wilted flowers to be an oversight, so this week, I ordered a bouquet for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Several stems were partially wilted when I picked up the bouquet, and the arrangement felt much smaller than the photographs. I was immediately disappointed, and should have said something, but I just felt too sad to speak up. The styling of the bouquet was very pretty, but the quality and size were in no way worth the cost. If it were a one-off situation, I wouldn’t have written a review about it, but two disappointing arrangements is too many. I’ll find...

I live in California and wanted to send flowers to a friend who lives in Edina who is going through an unexpected, difficult medical problem. When sending flowers, local always seems best but you don't really know how it will really turn out. This experience was perfect. The flowers were magnificent as described by my friend. It provided her with a dose of joy several times a day.

And to the story and why you should choose The Petal as your florist, there was a mix up on the address so the flowers originally didn't get to the right home. The owner made sure that this problem was fixed the evening of the delivery and took the extra effort to make it happen.
