Hands down one of the worst experiences out I've ever had. I've been driving by this place and really was excited to check out the vibe. My friend and I stopped by last night and had a terrible time. I have a meat intolerance and I get very very sick if I eat meat. I was going to get my own vegetarian pizza since my friend was with me. Our server, Sam, said they could do half of our pizza without meat. Perfect! So I thought. Our pizza comes out and Sam sets it down and rotates the pizza towards me saying, "these three slices have no meat." I take a couple bites and then another server comes by with the exact same pizza, "here's your pizza with half no meat." Our server comes to the table and tells that other server no we are good and we got our pizza already and must be a mistake. I set my pizza down and actually start taking apart the pizza and meat is on the entire thing. I wasn't mad because things happen and I only had a couple bites hoping it doesn't bother me. Now what was really offensive... our server, Sam, never came back to our table. 20 minutes went by with no server. All I wanted to do was ask for another pizza but he never came back to check on us. I had to flag down a manager, whom by the way was incredibly nice, and she got it for us. When that second pizza came out Sam still never came back to our table. Actually, nobody did! The server taking care of the table to the left and right of us didn't see if we were okay. My friend and I literally looked at each other and asked if we even had anyone taking care of us. It was mind boggling! Towards the very end Sam finally came around and we asked for our check. Asbolutely ridculous. I work in the service industry and I'm a very understanding person but this was a joke. Especially since I have been sick all damn day today. I will never be returning...

Not gonna lie, I am a fangirl of Mr. Paul's and their expansions. From the Burgers at the burger bar to the Po' boys at Malcom Yards. So I knew I was going to like Mothership Pizza, but I didn't know how much I was going to love it. Went on Friday night at 5 opening week and it was packed. We got our name on a list but then choose the bar once two spots opened up. There is only 1 tap and it's the Italian lager Peroni, which made my husband said as he is an IPA guy. But lucky for him they do have can options and he got a Bell's 2 hearted. I went with a red blend wine can't remember the name. For food we ordered a lot because it all looked good. (We brought a lot home.) We got the Italian chopped salad to start. The salad was nicely dressed with large pieces (almost too large) of salami and fontana cheese. We followed that up with the Patsy. I love prosciutto but it can get chewy and stuck in your teeth. NOT the case with the Patsy. The prosciutto was nice a crispy almost like a bacon, the ricotta creamy and then the arugula on top with the lemon dressing made for the perfect bite. For pasta we got the Agnolotti, which was nice a light with subtle flavors, the papperdalle was the except opposite of that, filling, comfy, cozy. The short rib was nice and tender my only wish was that it had more horseradish. But the star was the Rigatoni. The sauce clung onto the rigatoni perfectly. A little spice from the chili flake, just so good. The service was great never lacked for anything. Everyone had smiles. There were tvs that had a basketball game. A killer place list. It was quite loud, so if you were looking for a nice quiet dinner walk over to Mr. Paul's and get a table. This is a loud, upbeat modern italian...

Had very high hopes and was super excited to try this place. Unfortunately the service was very confusing and very un-welcoming. Our server was a little unfriendly to our party, we dirty looks by the server and we were not being attended to. We were also given a couple menus for our whole party when the table next to us of the same size all received a menu. We constantly had to ask to be attended by other staff, which were friendly. Our server was ignoring us while going above and beyond for the party next to us which stated they were friends. We were disappointed that you had to be friends with the staff in order to receive service. If I’m not mistaken, I unfortunately saw the bartender scoop ice with their bare hands into the cups. A staff member also put their hands on some of our groups shoulders, made us a little uncomfortable even if it was done with good intentions. The environment was also overwhelming, staff was screaming and crowded right next to our table. This made for an unpleasant experience. The menus were also very difficult to read with text on red background The kitchen staff was very friendly and helpful with our food and was the best part of this place.

The pizza was not very flavorful, and the wings were inconsistent with undercooked or very dry. The garlic knots were very good and the best thing we ordered. Our garlic wings were also pink. Our group thought that it was due to lighting, but upon reading some reviews our concerns seem to be a common problem here. I wish we trusted our gut. Please be aware of this food...

Awesome pizza restaurant! An upbeat vibe fills the small restaurant while lines form waiting for a dinner table. The service and team members really stood out. Right away, we were greeted walking in. The waitress and bussers were attentive and polite. Also, we had a great view of the kitchen; they were hard at work slinging pizzas while everyone had a smile on their face and looked happy to be there. The Hillary (Meatballs, red sauce, house mozzarella, green peppers, onions, fresno, basil, parm) was good and different from a typical sausage pizza. The fresno brought a slight kick while the green pepper gave a wonderful crunch. The Elizabeth (Red sauce, house mozzarella, ricotta, hot coppa, red onion, chili crisp, basil, parm) was great! I loved the creamy ricotta dollops alongside crispy coppa and spicy red onion. The red sauce is bright and on the sweeter side which works well with the Neapolitan dough: thin soft center, chewy bubbly crust, and all done in their wood fired oven. There was a delay between our first and second pizza, so they gave us Arancini on the house. We did not say anything and were not bothered, but they went above and beyond! Lastly, the space is reminiscent of an old time pizza parlor with a “new” feel. The classic red cups and strawberry bon bon candies are a nice touch. I look forward to seeing Mothership Pizza’s journey and will be back in the future!

Let me tell you, if you're looking for a pizza spot in Edina, Mothership Pizza is where it's at. My latest visit was, in a word, stellar. The Full Experience First off, the pizza is seriously delicious. We're talking top-tier flavor. And the drinks? Absolutely on point. The whole vibe of the place is just perfect—it's got that comfortable, cool atmosphere you want when you're out. Now, fair warning, you might have to cool your jets for a bit to snag a table, but trust me, it's a small price to pay for what you're about to experience. The pizzas are perfectly sized for sharing, which is great because you'll want to try a few different kinds. If you're really feeling it, though, you could definitely conquer one solo. My advice? Go for a couple and explore the menu; you won't regret it. Shout-out to Luke! Our server, Luke, was fantastic. The guy's got a great personality, super attentive even though the place was buzzing, and just genuinely friendly. It's always a good sign when the staff are clearly enjoying themselves and taking care of business. So, yeah, if you're in the mood for some seriously good pizza and a great time, make your way to Mothership. It's a solid win.
