My husband and I started services with Verizon in November. We paid a lot of money in store just to get started, and said that we would get a email for the receipt, I still cannot view the receipt or my bill to see what I am being charged. When we signed up, we were told our phone bill would be around roughly around $140 and another $50 for internet, but the first month would be free, I don’t think it was. The reason I say that is bc at the end of November I had to pay almost $500. Arlo said it would be adjusted on my next bill. My next bill came and it was $280, I called him and he brought it down to $274 and said it was that high bc they haven’t given me our credit for our old phones, let me remind you, this is at the end of December, a month and a half later. So I went into the store and he told me to just pay it and it would be adjusted on our next bill!!!! Here it is now January and our bill is $370!!!!!!!! I contacted the store and of course Arlo is out of the store for the week and no one else can help me. I am completely at a huge loss here over paying for a service that I was promised it would be a different amount. I spent several hours on the phone with Verizon customer service and I still don’t think that have it figured out, they told me that Arlo basically lied to me. I’m about to just cancel service, but I know I will not get our old phones back or the money that they have taken from me and said that I will be refunded on my next bill, but every time the bill comes out it is even more!!! Read moreMy wife and I needed new phones and visited the TCC Minnetonka, MN, store. We walked in and felt lucky to be immediately welcomed by an associate, Cameron, with a big smile on his face. The new phone "process" comes around every 5-6 or so years for us and I'm always apprehensive about how things will go (which phone, data transfer, issues setting up, learning new features, etc., etc.). But, Cameron clearly explained the products and the process! We picked out new phones (iPhone 16s) and the process started. He expertly multitasked setting up the two phone while we both bombarded him with questions! He calmly handled each of our interruptions. Sure, the process from start to finish takes a while, but a LOT has to happen correctly with setting up two phones while being pestered by two old farts! Bottom line - we couldn't be happier. Firstly, the upgrading was simple and went smoothly, due to the fact that Arlo is very good at their job and is a pro at upgrading iPhones. I can't emphasize enough how easily they brought me through the upgrade; it may have been the smoothest experience I've ever had. They are clearly a hardworking, intelligent tech manager. Secondly, and more importantly (to me), they were so nice and friendly, which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. They were easygoing and approachable, were naturally funny and made me laugh, and were such a cool person.
