If I could give this place NO Star I would! I have never been so disappointed and embarrassed to take my family to dine in at a place like this. It was my niece Birthday and this was there 1st time here and our 2nd, thought we take our little niece along with her family on her Birthday to try the food here because our 1st experience with the food was delicious. When we were seated by the guy with the glasses he then handed our menu, we looked at it and was ready to order. We started to order lots of grand dishes and ask a question if they have served French fries on the menu for our smallest child is autistic and thats all he pretty much eats. It was just a question we had asked the waiter with the glasses. He had then looked at us sarcastically and scoffed rolled his eyes and said very rudely No!! why would and asian restaurant have that!? To us as a family we thought that was very rude and uncomfortable how he jester it to us. We then told him, we been to Many asian restaurant that had that item In there restaurant. He then snatched the menu and went to the back and put in our order. We then sat there as a family with kinda awkward confusion on our face, like he just really rudely responded to us like that and snatched the menu... they then brought out our appetizers that we order, but we were so upset already and lots our appetite there. I told my family we'll pay for what has came out and go somewhere else. They all agreed. So I told the lady waiter were going to leave and pay for what has came out for we are upset with the rudeness and disrespect that came out of the guy who sat us down, she had agreed with us for she had seen the whole thing. While my family left to the car and I was last to get up, the old man from the back started to bring out all the grand dishes we had placed but I had already informed them we will not be dining due to the guy with the glasses being uncomfortably rude. And that I will be paying for the appetizers and be on our way. The guy with the glasses was not apposed of this then started to have a dispute with me! While I was trying to pay! I told him how much was it so we can leave, he was then still ignoring me and was like refusing to take my pay. I then told him sir, I don't have time to be here all day going back and forth with you on my niece birthday, you were quite rude to us and we lost out appetite im trying to pay but if your refusing that's not my fault! I had then walked out upset with money in my hands. The guy with the glasses then followed me yelling she's trying not to pay!! I yelled back saying I tired to pay you and you didn't want my money! And ignored me im not going to be here all day! The old man from the back then followed! They started to yell at me, as i walked out and seen my husband had the family in the vehicle I told him quickly I tried to pay them but they didn't want to give me the price and kept ignoring me, so I left and now they say I'm not trying to pay. While I still had money in my hand I told them here how much was it! So I can just pay you and go! They then rushed me and the old man poked his finger in my face/cheeks! I then pushed his finger away, stunned that he had place his finger on me! I was in luck because there was and Police officer that was parked in the parking lot and had seen the whole thing and asked if I wanted to press charges! He seen that he had assaulted me! As me seeing that all my children were shooken up in the car I had told the officer all I wanted to do was pay for the appetizers that had came out and was touched and be on our way, for its my neices Birthday. He had then informed me I can pay and still press charges if I want because he had seen everything. I then thank him for his assistance! And told him I do not want this to prolong and I just want to pay and go. Someday looking back, I wished I would of, but instead I decided to come here and post a review! To let others know that this place maybe good in food but very rude and unprofessional! And nor our family and friends will ever...
Read moreI will preface by saying that we have been here at least 5 other times and had good service and food each time.
We ordered pho, beef with broccoli and Vietnamese ice coffee. The food was good. My Vietnamese iced coffee was not.
The iced coffee tasted like watery milk with a tiny hint of coffee. I typically order a Vietnamese iced coffee every time we go there (and have been to many restaurants and their iced coffee never tasted like this one) and this was the only time it tasted so bad. I told my server, younger girl most likely named Julianne (thatâs what her name said on the receipt) and she looked at me like I had two heads and questioned why I wanted the coffee stronger. I told her that it doesnât taste like it has any coffee in it. I was polite and I even said that I donât want to be annoying and complain but I know what Vietnamese coffee tastes like and it doesnât taste the same. She said I wasnât a bother but still gave me attitude about having to remake my drink. She brought it back, dropped it off, and said âIt should taste betterâ and walked off. The coffee honestly tasted worse and I didnât even attempt to drink it at all. She never came back to ask us how the food was or if the coffee was made properly. She didnât drop in once and someone else ended up bringing us the receipt. Julianne (presuming thatâs her name) did end up checking us out once we got to the front but never checked and asked if the coffee ended up tasting good or not. She was a bit haughty and abrasive and didnât thank us for coming in or having a nice day. To top it off, she SAW that I never even had another sip of my coffee and couldnât bother to take it off our tab. I didnât bother saying anything to her because it all wasnât worth it for $5-6. I still tipped even though I shouldnât have but we are for a fact never going back. There are so many Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants in the area which much better service and great food that itâs not worth coming back here.
If the owners read the reviews at all, they should take this as a learning moment for their young servers. You can be young and inexperienced, maybe frazzled with needing to remake something. You can be flustered because I understand whatâs itâs like working in the service industry. Not every customer is going to be nice and youâre going to have hard days. However, donât be rude and abrasive to people who arenât being rude...
