I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Pancake House in Eden Prairie, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The cozy ambiance, coupled with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made pancakes, made me feel right at home.
As soon as I was seated, I was greeted by the most amazing waitress named Anna. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor instantly made me feel welcome. Anna's knowledge of the menu was exceptional, and she expertly guided me through the numerous mouthwatering pancake options available. She patiently answered all my questions and even provided insightful recommendations based on my preferences. Her attentiveness and genuine care for her customers truly set her apart as the best waitress I have ever encountered.
Now, let's talk about the food! The speed at which my order arrived at the table was truly impressive. It seemed like no time had passed at all before a piping hot plate of banana French toast appeared before me. The piece of French toast were a work of art, perfectly golden brown and fluffy. Each bite was a heavenly combination of textures and flavors, and I found myself savoring every mouthful. The pancakes were accompanied by a variety of delectable toppings, from classic maple syrup to fresh bananas and a homemade caramel sauce. The presentation was top-notch, and it was evident that great care had been taken in preparing each plate.
The overall dining experience at the Pancake House was exceptional. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delectable french toast made it an unforgettable morning. I left the restaurant with a full stomach and a big smile on my face, thanks to Anna's outstanding service and the kitchen staff's incredible culinary skills.
If you're looking for a place to satisfy your pancake cravings, look no further than the Pancake House in Eden Prairie. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I guarantee that this charming establishment will exceed your expectations. Don't forget to ask for Anna, the epitome of excellent service! Read moreMy family has been coming to The Original Pancake House for Eid for over 5 years now, because we like the food and atmosphere. This last time however the manager Gary was racist and extremely rude to us. This Eid, we had a reservation at 9:30, we get there at 9:25 and we can see they're busy and they tell us "we just need to get your table ready" so we sit and wait. 15 minutes go by and we still haven't been sat so my father goes to ask why we haven't been sat yet and make sure they know we had a reservation. They say "yeah sorry we just don't have any tables at the moment", we wait 5 more minutes, my dad goes up and tells them "you sent me a text last night and this morning to confirm. I understand you are busy but you could have sent me a text letting me know it was going to be an additional wait". The manager Gary said "we're doing the best we can", my father says "that's understandable but you overbooked, that's not on us we had a reservation". Gary asked my dad "how many times have you had a dinner reservation and had to wait 10 minutes", (it's been over 15 min at this point), my dad says "zero" so the manager Gary says "welcome to America tell your friends and family this is how it's like here"... That is extremely racist and rude, and completely unwarranted. There was no reason for him to say that besides the fact that we are a visibly Muslim family. Being busy is understandable but should never warrant a racist comment like that. No complaints about the food, and the waiters and hosts are always very kind and friendly. But the manager soiled our Eid morning, and he shouldn't be speaking to...
Read moreOur family absolutely LOVES going to OPH, but they have to figure out a better reservation/call ahead procedure. We called to put our name on the called ahead list to cut our wait time dow . We were told that the wait was around 60 minutes (not too bad for a Sunday morning around 9am) and that it shouldn't be more than a 30 minute wait once we arrive. We checked in when we got there at the front, got a pager and waited. After 40 minutes went by, I checked with the front counter again and they informed me that we were still looking at another 20 minutes being there were 5 tables reserved in front of us and an additional 4 other families in front of us. At this time, our kids were getting fairly hungry but patient (as much as an 11 and 7 year old can be). After those 20 minutes went by, I again checked with the front counter to see how much longer........they proceeded to tell me we were looking at 20 more minutes. At this time we were all EXTREMELY upset at the poor organization of the restaurant's seating que. We watched as there was at least 6 other families that arrived after us being seated. I'm sure they called ahead and were properly placed in the seating que. I was told by the front counter that we would eventually be called and they appreciated our patience... unfortunately after waiting close to 90 minutes, those patience ran out. I really hope that they figure this problem out as I'm sure we are not the only family that has...
