PARENTS: avoid this store! I just had my worst Target experience EVER at this store. I will avoid this store from now on at all costs! There was only one, yes ONE regular check out line open at peak time during the evening and the rest "over flowed" to the self check out--where there were many others standing in line. (There was another line where a cashier was checking people out but she had her light off like she was trying to leave) As a mom with 2 kids, it is nearly impossible to self-check out. But I refused to wait in a line that was 10-people-deep with screaming kids ready to be done. Although I'm sure these self checkouts are great for people with a few select items, for those of us that buy a bunch of groceries it is very hard to do produce or get the gift card coupon offers with the machines. I had to have a person come over and help me 4 times. It took me a very long time to complete and bag my own things while juggling kids. I proceeded to talk to the manager to let them know how terrible the experience was. He said they were low staffed and that people liked those self-check outs. Right. That's why there were so many people standing in line waiting for...
Read moreIt is unfortunate that I am writing this. This has been my go-to target, coming here once a week, every week, for the past 5 years. Usually I average 15-20 items per trip and I always use the self-checkout, mainly because I can scan my own items faster then most of their cashiers (no offense to the employees). Also I can avoid longer lines, because usually there is only 1 or 2 cash registers open. When I went to go checkout this Saturday around 11AM, there was a sign saying that self-checkout are now limited to 10 items or less. To make things even worse, they only had 3 cash registers open, each with lines of 10 customers deep. This is unfortunate, because I will now have to switch to a different Target, or if I do have to come back, I will limit my self to 10 items or less just to save time. Hopefully the people in charge of this location will reconsider the changes they made, by either hiring more cashiers or adding more self checkouts, thus ending the need to limit item amount. 8 self-checkouts (half of them closed most of the time) is...
Read moreI recently had an extremely disappointing experience at your store due to the poor service provided by Mason, the team leader. I had already paid for an item via the app, which showed it as in stock. An electronics associate, who was very helpful, had pulled the item for me. However, Mason refused to release it.
Mason was condescending and dismissive towards the electronics associate who sought his assistance, even ignoring him for about 100 feet. Mason then instructed me to go to customer service, where he informed me that I couldn't have the item despite it being available at the electronics counter.
His condescending attitude and lack of customer service skills were so off-putting that I had to leave without further engagement. Adding to the frustration, I later received a notification that my item was out of stock, which was clearly not the case as I had seen it myself.
Mason's behavior towards both customers and his team is unacceptable and detracts significantly from the...
