Went today for an appointment. I was so disappointed. I would think that a wig place inside an oncologist’s office building would be top notch. Not the case in my experience. Was told to call my insurance company before hand and find out my amount that I could spend. Come to find out studio 1 has a contract price that the insurance co pays. So they get paid $375 for whatever wig you choose. Blue cross blue shield said I didn’t have a limit on the $ amount. Then I was told by studio 1 that of course they wouldn’t sell a better wig for the price they get from the insurance company. Never so disappointed throughout my entire cancer journey. So basically you get a cheap wig if you plan on using your insurance. Thank goodness a surgeon doesn’t feel the same way. They also have agreed on prices and hopefully you still get the full service. Also the lady told me that if I wanted to try on wigs and had to come back to try on more it would cost me $60 fee for the second appointment. Really, from what I see when I am there about every other day in the building you should appreciate a customer. Don’t run them off. I think 1 star is being generous. Step it up studio 1. Your customer...
Read moreI had such a wonderful experience at Studio 1. I had a partial mastectomy and no one shared with me the importance of needing a post surgery bra. I got a nice goody bag tote from the Breast center but everything happened so fast and I didn’t look at the items until the day after my surgery and found a certificate to the Studio 1. I gave them a call and I received welcoming kindness. When I arrived for my appointment I had been in so much discomfort and once I got fitted with a post surgery bra I felt instant relief!! I want to spread this testimony to every woman that goes through breast cancer likes its gospel. The boutique is so beautiful and the one on one service is exactly superb! I will continue to go there...

I went through a double mastectomy in CA and I am struggling with left limb lymphedema but managing okay with the help of SJRMC outpatient clinic therapist. When I went to see my oncologist I popped in the Mishawaka Studio1 Boutique. They have been wonderful by informing me of my rights. They have fitted me several times with beautiful bras and they are compassionate and understanding of someone going through this. They have a great selection of bras to choose from and I’m glad I found them because they make me feel pretty again. Thank you for your...
