Gordon Food Service Store — Local services in Mishawaka

For the most part part everything we buy from Gordon’s is great, however they need to work on their hotdog buns. On more than one occasion I’ve bought hotdogs buns for my place of employment. We feed a large group of boys everyday. On a visit earlier this week I bought 5 bags of the Stadium Buns because I thought I would have favorable outcome only to have them do the same as the Gordon’s brand. They were difficult to part them and when I did have them open they tore completely apart or crumbled. This I voices a complaint with the Mishawaka location. Unfortunately I had to use them as it was too late to Instacart from another vendor. The expiration date said 10/13 but they seemed old. Otherwise I love shopping at Gordon’s. The store is always clean and the beef hotdogs are great. I only buy the Gordon’s beef brand whether I’m buying for...

I love this place for specific things...especially get "togethers." The quality of the food is good and I don't wait long at the register. No bagging here, but they pack boxes with your purchases. Veggie tray prices can't be beat! I would love to give them 5 stars, but because they have a limited selection, it makes me go to other places....but they have things other stores don't have. This is a great mixture of retail and professional food service items. The rotisserie chicken is fantastic and $5. One of my favorites is the Frozen mushrooms that are battered or breaded. Same price as the grocery but twice as much in the content. One of the best luxury items there is there orange juice that is made right there and if you are at they're at the right time you can watch...
