Extremely rude when it comes to customer service. I called the restaurant directly about a DoorDash order that was incorrectly filled (wrong item), not mad at all, just wanting to get the correct item and offered to pick up myself. Immediate response from restaurant employee was to tell me how difficult DoorDash orders were and asked me why I did not make my order more clear on DoorDash order; she said it was not good enough to select the entree, but that I needed to thoroughly describe the item in the Special Request box as well. When I went to pick up the correct entree from the store, the same employee turned her back on me and was unresponsive as she had AirPods jammed into both ears. Thankfully, another employee was there to apologize and hand me the corrected order. I do understand they are very short-staffed right now, but I really hate to see them lower their customer service standards so greatly when their food is so amazing. Is it really too much to ask of any employee to realize that they are getting paid to work, which does not always entail doing something they enjoy? Besides that, if you do not like dealing with customers, fine, but then go find a different job or work in the back, cooking the food, where you do not have to deal with people. Bill, please try to keep your employee CS standards higher than what I have witnessed recently, because your restaurant is great and...
Read moreHow could I have forgotten to leave a review for you guys? Taste of Asia has been my EXCLUSIVE Asian restaurant since I moved here in 2013 (almost 7 years). I refuse to eat (Asian food) anywhere else. I'm surprised by some of the complaints left by other reviewers, but I'm not, because people are impossible to please. The quality of their food and service is 100% consistent every time. I usually order take out from here and they package everything in a convenient box - which is good for me because I'm a crazy driver and I'd rather not spill my wonderful Wonton soup in my car. Everything is definitely as authentic as I need it to be, tastes exremely fresh, and made to order! Not to mention, always still hot by the time I get home and dish it up. The owner is kind and welcoming, and while I have noticed several different faces at the front desk over the years ... They have absolutely always been kind and welcoming as well. My menu favorites are sweet & sour chicken, chicken lo mein, CRAB RANGOONS and egg rolls. They have a large bottled drink section & they aren't stingy with their condiments.
I will...
Read moreAbsolute best Thai restaurant we've been to in a long time. The owner's wife is from Northern Thailand, and so there is a bit of Burmese influence in some of the dishes. I ordered a spicy lettuce wrap beef dish (don't remember the name as I had the owner choose one of HIS favorites). I got "regular" spice level, which for most people, it was very hot for most people. It was perfect spice level for me. The flavor was awesome, and the spice level had me sweating. My wife ordered the Pad See Ew. She absolutely loved it. She hadn't had that flavorful a Chicken Pad See Ew in over 20 years. The noodles were tender and absorbed the flavor of the sauce very well. The chicken was tender and juicy. My sons ordered the Beef Lo Mein and the Sweet and Sour Chicken, respectively. They devoured it quickly, with the exception of my youngest, who ate only half because of the portion size being so plentiful. We will definitely be back to try the rest...
