The most disorganized and badly planned business I have ever been in. Not enough room between door and order counter. There were about 12 people working with 10 to 20 ovens going. Uniforms are black and I noticed all the boys had on shorts and girls had long pants. Not sure if they get a choice or not.
Once you order you move to the left and waited for your items at the very small pick up counter. The waiting area was very tiny and we were packed in there like sardines. Very uncomfortable and very hot. The store front was super hot, as expected with that many ovens. But the staff were sweating a lot and all I kept imagining was their sweat dripping into the batter. Oh my goodness, there were tons of flies in the store as well. How many flies touched the batter and cookies???
I purchased two classics: chocolate chip and peanut butter. Was anxious to see what the fuss was all about. When I picked up the cookie it was still warm and soft. First bite in all I tasted was flour and it was not good. Took another bite same thing. I looked at the cookie and was not cooked in the middle. RAW DOUGH. I stopped eating at that point. By the time I got home about 20 minutes I was violently ill. I spent the next 2 hours throwing up. My friend at the entire other cookie and became violently ill as well.
When I was able, I called the store to complain, they apologized but told me it couldn't have been their cookie. But they were willing to give me a full refund.
It was a couple of days before I felt well enough to go in for the refund. They again told me there was no way that their cookie made me ill. I pulled out my phone and showed them the under cooked cookie. They told me, "that isn't undercooked it is moist. Our cookies are like that. I replied, "I know the difference between raw dough and moist dough." The cashier just looked at me for a few minutes then went to get a manager. Not once while I was in store did they apologize but they did give me the refund.
I of course do not think they are worth almost $5 a cookie and do not recommend at all. Spend some time bonding with your child and make cookies at...
Read moreThe staff were friendly and the line moved really quick on Saturday evening.
The cookies are were not very good. If you are craving a cookie that bad and don't want mix the ingredients yourself, Toll House makes some break and bakes that only take about 10 - 12 minutes in your oven.
The Chocolate Chip Cookie was bland and flavor less aside from the chocolate chunks.
The Strawberry Milk cookie tasted like they made a sugar cookie recipe but forgot to add sugar or vanilla to the batch. The icing tasted like boxed strawberry instant pudding.
The Pink Cadillac cookie brought me back to my childhood. I use to love to eat the salt dough when we would bake Christmas ornaments in Kindergarten.
The Cake Batter cookie tasted exactly like raw cake batter.
The Chocolate Peanut Butter cookie was decent. Not a lot of peanut butter flavor though.
The Double Chocolate was good. It had more of a...
Read moreAll 0 stars in my opinion. Mind u this is my first ever time ordering or trying crumble cookie. I placed my order at 10:40 pm last night. I put pick up time for 11:30 am this morning. I called around 11am to let them know I would be picking up way later because my husband chemo was many hours behind and I am unsure of my pick up time. The lady that answered said it was not a problem just when I get there to let them know I'm there n to give my order number. I got there at 7pm. They said they couldn't find my order so employee got a manager was told someone picked up my order at 430pm but they are working on my order now. Many orders that came after me were served 1st. I finally walk out 52 minutes later and no apology or refund of the tip I gave them. They gave us extremely hot cookies that the frosting melted. Will never...
