I went yesterday and once again there was only one lane open to serve clients, except for the self checkout lanes. Self checkout lanes lead to people losing their jobs. I refuse to contribute to that. The cashier has several things that she had to take care of on her phone before any of us could move forward .
When I got to her, I asked her why there was consistently only one lane open and that experience took entirely too long. Her answers were "there is nothing I can do about it" " talk to my manager" " what do you want me to do" no mention of the fact that her personal cell phone might be the issue. The manager stood up to me and said, Im very sorry. Of course he did nothing.
My point in all of this,is if you work retail and you can't keep from breaking down when your job is overwhelming you're work may not be for you. Maybe you aren't the one for the job.
I'd appreciate people not blaming everyone around them for their issues and take your job seriously. Blame yourself if you're on your cell phone, admit it...
Read moreThank you to the kind girls working the Customer Service desk! I had tried to return some clothing items my daughter got for her birthday in March which I havent been able to return because of COVID-19 to the Goshen Target. I didnt have a receipt but tags were all on them and they had never been worn. They refused to return them and I simply asked "Why cant they be returned?", like any person would, and the lady literally yells at me "CALM DOWN LADY, CALM DOWN!" I was actually startled by it because I had never even raised my voice so I was so confused where her anger came from. She was extremely rude and stated they were "salvaged" and no longer in their system so there was nothing they could do. So I left and I took them to the Mishawaka Target and explained to them what happened to me at the Goshen Target and they returned them no question. They said they should have returned them and I never should have been treated that way. So, thank you Mishawaka Target for having great and generous employees who know how to...
Read moreI’ve tried to give Target many chances. Mostly due to the fact that I will never return to a Walmart. However they’ve screwed up too many times. For example I attempted purchased an LG Oled B8, when I got home though I noticed it was the B7 which was last years model. The receipt and the label both said “LG Oled B8.” This was a major screw up. Another time the SIM cards I purchased would not activate. Somehow the ones from Best Buy were just fine. As usual the staff is of no help. These are just a few. The final nail in the coffin was this past week. When I attempted to do a price match at the customer service desk. A clueless employee said that they could not price match during the holiday season. I looked on their website and this is not true. Maybe this was a manager making up his own rules. Nonetheless the Goshen store price matched without thinking twice about it. I’ve tried giving this store a chance many times but due to excessive stupidity I will be skipping it...
