I have many Brighton pieces/purses/wallets. 1 particular bracelet has turned a copper/brownish color 2x. It was replaced the first time after a discussion of the âsend it in for repairâ policy. If it was deemed to be my fault I would be responsible for it. This makes perfect sense in some scenarios. However, Of all of the pieces I have, I have never had this happen. It could possibly be that this particular item has a defect in general. One can not fault a company for that as it can happen. However, HOW customer is treated is HUGE in my book. I have NEVER had an issue with or exchanged/returned anything with this company before. I have ZERO history of being a customer that wants to exploit Brighton, yet, My care of the piece was called into question. I was given the option to send the 2nd (same exact braclet) one in for a repair instead of a replacement (for the same one). I will No longer purchase Brighton. I value companies that value their customers. If I have multiple pieces and have only had an issue with one. It is apparent that proper care of my jewelry is not the issue. I am however disappointed. I can appreciate a companies stance to âstand behind the quality of their productâ as I was told. Sometimes, a customers loyalty and history with a company should supersede a policy. Especially if there is not a history of having issues. Maybe this situation is a matter of training. Perhaps this store is doing so well that they donât need new customers. We were greeted immediately upon entering the store, with no pressure to do anything but browse. She let us know that she was there to help us if we needed it. She offered suggestions based on my daughter's questions, and allowed us to continue our search. When the total came up on the register, she gently pointed out that we were fairly close to being able to earn a free gift with purchase, we'd just need to buy a little bit more. Recently at the Mission Viejo Mall location the woman, I believe the manager, with very long white/blond hair was SO rude. No eye contact, very curt, she seemed so put out I was returning something. Lots of âsighingâ. She seemed to rub off on Collette as she was too. Iâve always loved Collette. And the nice gal that was helping me was new & they ignored her & were no help to her & I could tell she just wanted to cry. I will not return to this store if these two women continue...
