REPOST: I believe the owner is taking down mine and other negative reviews. TLDR: Refused to fix a bad repair then ATTEMPTED and failed to intimidate me after refusing to refund. After picking up my necklace repair and watch battery replacement, I requested a refund via text due to the necklace repair being done cheaply and with mismatched materials (non-solid gold clasp on 14k chain). The necklace broke again after the repair and he agreed to look at it to see if it could be fixed or refunded. After refusing either, I chose to leave the store and he followed me out cussing at me, getting in my face, accusing me of being "cheap", and threatening to sue me.... for what? I notified the Mission police - I cannot recommend this place.

Alex the owner was excellent to work with. I had chipped the edge of the glass on my 11yr old Citizen Eco-Drive Weekender Garrison Field watch. Dropped it off one day and was ready the next. Very reasonable cost, much cheaper than replacing. Now it looks good as new - absolutely will return again for future watch repairs and would recommend to anyone!

I brought in an heirloom coin to be turned into a necklace pendant - the service was quick, reasonably priced, and the end result was better than I ever could have hoped for. The pendant accents the coin perfectly and I am thrilled to have such a lovely piece of jewelry. Thank you!

UPDATE as of 5/8/25: The owner changed his response to my original review to include the part about "all he remembers." None of the information I asked for required more research. And it certainly did not require an abrasive response, followed by giving me the run around. Again, I never asked for an appraisal or anything of the sort. I'm not sure where he got this information but that's not true.

UPDATE as of 4/7/25: The owner responded to my original review that was posted on 4/6/25. He mentioned I requested an appraisal. This is NOT true at all. I know all about my watch and got an appraisal shortly after purchasing it a year ago. I never requested an appraisal from him. All I came in for was a routine service. The owner also did not acknowledge anything I said in the review. I'm not sure why he would mislead others about this situation by saying I requested an appraisal when that's not true.

Original review as of 4/6/25: I had my Tudor serviced here about a month ago. The owner texted me 2 weeks later saying the watch was ready. Before paying I was asking the owner what was done to it (was the movement dry, did it need new gaskets, anything stand out in general?). Just asking out of curiosity as the watch is a little older and I’m unsure if it had ever been serviced before.

He was very standoff-ish and said everything was done to it. If it needed something it got it. I said yeah great, but again asked how it looked and what exactly it needed. He just kept asking "What do you want buddy? What do you want from me?" even though I’m literally telling him. I just want to know what exactly was done as part of the service. I dropped it and paid and was given a simple receipt (only showing how much I paid, not what it was for) and a piece of paper showing the accuracy of the watch. I also politely asked about a detailed invoice. Invoices for servicing higher end watches are usually standard. I want to know what was done to the watch and to keep the service records if I ever decide to sell it.

He said he would email me the invoice in a couple days. A few days later I text him asking about the invoice. He asked how my watch was running and for my email address. I mentioned the watch was still running a little fast and he told me to bring it back to be looked at again free of charge. He would send the invoice after that. I told him I'd bring it back the next week if it was still running fast, but I still would like the invoice now (should be pretty easy to shoot off a quick email). I let a few days go by to see how the watch was doing after a while.

A few days went by and I noticed the watch was back within normal deviation after letting it stop and starting it up again, so I texted the owner saying the watch is fine and I asked for the invoice again. He said he would send it the following week. Now almost a month has gone by and still nothing. I just want that invoice. That's it.

While I appreciate his willingness to honor his warranty and the affordable price of the service, the owner becoming standoff-ish by me politely asking for what should be a standard document as part of the service was very odd. I had to ask over a dozen times in person and over text for this stupid invoice and never got it. Idk why that's difficult.

Life goes on, but I will not be back because of how the owner treated me, how he couldn't tell me what was done to the watch and provide a...

I had taken my necklace for repair and the charm was on it. At first, he said that he normally does not hold onto charms but that he would keep mine for some reason. After my necklace was repaired I was pick it up and had to go back because my charm was not with the necklace. He said that he doesn't keep charms with a necklace repair. I told him that he had taken my charm and I needed it back. He went into the back as I waited and he came back and he said that he couldn't find it but that he would look at his workbench off-site. I said that was fine and I expected a text saying to come pick up my charm. I waited for about a week and I didn't hear anything. He had been communicating by text which is fine, I prefer it. I sent another text requesting my charm and he answered saying that he couldn't find my charm. This was no cheap necklace and charm, my husband bought it at Kay Jewelry for Christmas one year. It was beautiful, a small rose gold knot with diamonds. I finally just went back and asked again for the return of my charm. This had been going on for right around a month. He still said that he couldn't find it. He texted me shortly after my visit and said, "I can't find your charm. But, if you can send me a picture he would make a new charm. It took me a couple of days to get the picture. I got it directly from a very helpful person at Kay Jewelry. I immediately sent a text and included the picture. I didn't hear anything for at least 2 weeks and this time he said that he couldn't make the replacement charm and that I could pick something out of his stock as a replacement. There were no limitation parameters in this message. I couldn't get back for another week or so, yes this had been going on for months. I looked at the pieces that he offered and he didn't have any rose gold charms. I finally picked one that was similar in design but silver. Then he said, "Oh no, that one is $200." I was flabbergasted and I said that I wouldn't give him more money after he had lost my beautiful rose gold charm. This necklace and charm were important to me because it was the first really nice thing that my husband had given me and I was sentimental. He then pointed to 3 or 4 very small charm with no stones. At this point, I was getting really upset but I picked a plain tiny heart and that didn't match my chain. I left very upset because he had not only lost or kept my charm, he had offered to make a replacement if I could send a picture, which I did, he then went back and said that I could pick something from his inventory, then he went back on that option too. My husband thinks that it was taken and sold to someone else, I don't know. And the chain that he repaired keeps getting tangled and I can't untangle it. As you can see, it isn't even fastened. Be aware. UPDATEDI understand that he might be a good guy who just had a bad day(s). I hope that...

I brought in my sister's digital Timex watch to have a new battery installed. The watch has 2 press buttons on each side, and before I took in the watch, my sister said all 4 buttons were working fine, the watch just needed a new battery. The man seemed to think it would take more than the usual effort to install a new battery because of how the watch was set up, so I returned for the watch after an hour. When I brought it home, the time function was working, but my sister said that the buttons on the left were very hard to push, and the ones on the right were inaccessible--they were pushed so far in that you couldn't press them with your fingers. She said that had happened once before with a different watch when the battery was improperly installed. I took the watch back, and the man first said that that just happened to watches because of skin and debris built up around the buttons, then he said, "This is a WalMart thing--if you want to take the watch to WalMart, they put in batteries." One of the buttons was for the light, and he said, "Well, probably the light has burned out, you can't do anything about that." He tried to show me that you could take a pin and still push the buttons on the right--who would want to do that? Finally, he said he would take a look at it and give me a call. After more than 2 weeks, no call, so I went to pick up the watch. I couldn't tell that anything had been done to it at all. I said, "Still not working, hunh?" and he became irate and said, "The watch is old! The pins need to be replaced!" He tried to show me how to push the buttons with a pen, but I just asked for the watch back. He grabbed the $7 I had paid out of the cash register and slammed them on the counter and yelled, "It's just a $7 battery! Here's your money back. I'll take out the battery, and you can take it somewhere else. Don't laugh at me!" I repeated in a firm voice, "Give me the watch." At first, I didn't think he was going to, but he finally did. I'm not sure what he was so upset about, but if he didn't know how to install the battery correctly on a Timex watch or didn't know how to get the buttons back in working order, why didn't he just say so the first...
