Foggi Ice Cream — Restaurant in Mission

This place is pretty incredible!!!

We were grabbing a cheeseburger across the street and saw this ice cream place and decided to check it out. I was celebrating passing a certification for work so we thought we should have a treat. Also, my brother was in town so it seemed a good time.

I’ve never had ice cream like this before. They literally make it right in front of you. After you order your flavor, they pour liquid in a bowl and use a stand mixer and liquid nitrogen to prepare the ice cream fresh while you wait. There are no additives or preservatives, and it tastes amazing!

The family who owns the place is very kind and willing to walk you through the menu and the process. They also have a bubble tea and some other treats for you to enjoy.

They offer board games for adults and children. It’s a very comfortable and homey place.

Foggi is the best nitrogen ice cream and coffee place in the metro area. While they're not big into loaded toppings, their base is the best both in terms of flavor and consistency, and they have awesome flavors you won't find elsewhere (like Thai tea ice cream) and their coffee floats are perfection. Their egg coffee is pure bliss. They also have boboa drinks, if you're not feeling into coffee.

When the weather is nice, grab a seat outside and people watch, or stroll and check out the other shops in the downtown shopping area Foggi is located in. The only thing I regret is that Foggi's has been around for two years already, and we haven't been going there this entire time, as we're huge fans of nitrogen ice cream. This is one of the few places in the KC metro that does it right, and I can't wait till COVID is over, so I can bring my entire extended...

This is hands down the BEST ice cream place in all of Kansas City and all of its surrounding area. If you love ice cream, you MUST go check this place out. If you live far away, I wouldn't recommend you go, because you'll want to burn gas to go back EVERY SINGLE DAY. Nitrogen ice cream made fresh on the spot with great flavors. If you can, go when Vong is working, because it's just different when he makes it. The ice cream is just better. Very nice family place with lots of board games and video games. They have a really neat photo booth, where you can take pictures, as well. The service is top notch! The ingredients are fantastic, and their coffee is delicious, too!
