Update 2 – Day 29 since delivery: Now the brand-new couch is falling apart at the seams. Service appointments don’t let you pick a time window, so you're forced to take a full day off work just to meet the technician.
Update 1: The furniture arrived damaged and left a huge mess. It's been three weeks of going in circles with customer service. They want to replace the damaged items, but after what I went through, I’m not interested in cleaning up styrofoam scattered down the entire street again. When I worked in furniture delivery, we wrapped everything in blankets, inspected it, and made sure it arrived in perfect condition. Bob’s delivery team built everything out on the wet road and dragged damaged furniture into my home, leaving debris behind. We really need a zero-star rating option.
Update 3: Three months later, and everything is falling apart. The dresser drawers don’t close, the bed squeaks every time you move, and the couch — after being “patched” by a technician — still looks terrible. Not one piece of furniture from Bob’s has held up.
Update 4: Dear Bob’s, I’ve called the number you posted once a day since your last reply — no one answers. I’ve already gone through the entire reporting process for all the damages. The automated number you keep giving me is something I’ve already used several times. You should not need any more information — everything has been reported to customer service.
Update 5 – Today (6 Months In): This has been a nightmare from the start. Every single item has a problem. Every one. The only silver lining is that the Better Business Bureau helped me return the couches. Now I’m stuck trying to figure out what to do with all the broken drawers in the bedroom set. We purchased the Beaumont California King White & Gray Platform Storage Bed to pair with our new Cal King mattress from Costco (72”x84”). When the bed arrived and was assembled, our mattress appeared too narrow for the frame. A technician confirmed our suspicions - the bed frame appears to be Eastern King size, not California King as advertised.
I spoke with Rosa, a repair/support technician, who was dismissive and insisted nothing was wrong despite photographic evidence uploaded by the home technician. She claimed we bought the wrong mattress and refused to consider alternative options. I was attempting to give other explanations that perhaps the warehouse team may have sent the wrong bed size. We’re human and make mistakes. Unfortunately she was unable to hear that because she abruptly hung up the phone.
Fortunately, my second call connected me to Lucas, who listened to our concerns, understood the situation, and recognized that the bed was useless to us in the wrong size. Lucas deserves a 5-star rating for his professionalism and problem-solving approach.
In sum, I’m hoping the owner will respond directly to resolve this matter, as it appears to involve either malpractice, misleading advertising or a warehouse error. This situation shouldn’t require customers to purchase a new mattress to correct a sizing mistake on...
