This place is great if you are a lifter-of all disciplines. This gym caters to them. In fact, there is a community there which is awesome. I, personally, like the sterility of the chain gyms. I opt not to go anymore, because 1) there is no front desk/staff presence. When there is, they’re working out or slouched so low behind the desk, there appears not to be one. 2) The children. I’ve seen kids there at least 50% of the time. Smaller kids....10 and under. The parents don’t keep an eye on them because they’re working out. And there’s no kids club, or dedicated room for them. Everyone here is here to work. Nobody is just taking up space, everyone gets along, everyone reracks their weights, everyone wipes down their machines, and everyone is willing to spot you and help you out.
The owner, Claudia, does a great job at maintaining a great, clean, and friendly environment and has been steadily upgrading the equipment.
You’ll see some giants, some elite level lifters, and they’re always willing to offer advice and a helping hand.
