Mango Crazy — Restaurant in Modesto

I used to love Mango crazy! In the beginning it was awesome.... over time there’s a definite lack of freshness in the food. It started not long after opening the cucumbers in the ceviche were not fresh. You could tell the ceviche was from the day or two before. I’ve had the strawberries and cream, at first it’s amazing, but then you notice the older softer strawberries are towards the bottom of the cup. The fruit cups started out so good as well. Again the older, softer not so pretty and fresh fruit put in the bottom of the cup. Despite all that I still would visit mango crazy often...... Until yesterday, I WONT BE GOING BACK...... my fruit cup had canned pineapple! All the pieces were same size and all were perfectly sweet and none were the bright fresh yellow that fresh pineapple is. Fresh pineapple has an array of sweet and tart flavors and different consistencies. I’m so disappointed..... if I wanted canned fruit I would have bought canned fruit. I do not like this place. Ordered 2 fruit cup ($6.?? Each) 3 of the fruits listed were not in my cup. Cucumbers were in my fruit cup. Last time I checked cucumbers were a vegetable not a fruit. I was very disappointed. I will not be going back at all. Overpriced for a cup of three fruits and a vegetable when it should have had six fruits. The mangoes were hard, not ripe. Get the watermelon was overripe. Pineapple was just okay. The orange sections were overripe. There was supposed to be strawberries grapes and coconut on it but there was none. The food is good. Service is okay, my two complaints are: one the food looks like it was rushed and two the tosti ceviche did not look like the picture. The ceviche consisted mostly of tomato, cucumber, a few pieces of shrimp, lots of onions and the jaiva ( imitation crab meat) was almost non-existent.
