Video Game Wizards VGW — Local services in Molalla

I've been going to Video Game Wizards for 35-ish years? Hell, I was going to the video store that existed in Portland before the original store opened, I'm old.😂

As a legacy, VGW has always been a fantastic place to get those forgotten games, accessories, guides and collectables no matter the location.

I saw the initial ownership change hands years ago, from good hands to good hands. Unfortunately, the initial store closed years ago, but the tradition and dedication never changed.

It's a little outta the way, but you can come to this location and find just about everything you need still, a huge selection of retro games and accessories, dvds and rays, guides, you name it. The staff and owners are always chill, helpful and personable, I cannot recommend this place more!

Buyer beware. Bought an Xbox one and headmic, with my hands full the gentlemen says "If you have any problems it has a 30 warranty and if you lose your reciept its in the system." Get it home and sure enoigh when it plays games it makes a very loud skipping sound and gets super warm.

6 days later I have time to tske it back. Female and part owner of the comapny is there. Easily finds it in the system but informs me when I ask for my money back that they dont do cash refunds. Im kind of taken aback by this because there is no sign in the store saying that. She prints off a receipt and sure enough at the bottom in little letters it says no cash back. She offers a 50/50 cash and store credit and Inform here that wont leave me happy but if its all she is going to offer it will be worth a negative review she says she cant make everybody happy. Awesome store! My 11 year old son and his friend are really into vintage tech. So we took the friend to this store for his birthday to pick something out. They had a blast. Spent an hour and a half looking everything over before deciding on their purchases (a Game Boy Color and a PSP 1000, plus games). (They had each brought some of their own savings to contribute. Mama didn't foot the bill for all of that. 😜) They chatted excitedly about their treasures all the way home.

The owner is great. Answered all kinds of questions for us. Cleaned one of the game cartridges for us. Looked over our old DSI (a family heirloom 😁) and took it in for repair.
