I don't usually write reviews but since I have had MANY negative experience at this establishment I can't leave this unsaid. I have worked directly with people since I was a teen (including food service with my food handlers card) and would never treat people the way I have been treated numerous times at this restaurant. I've always given the benefit of the doubt but my family and close friends won't be returning. My family was given dirty looks and turned away one evening this week when the open sign was still on and it was not closing time. We were told orders weren't being taken any longer. I've shown up to pick up my to go order that I placed over the phone and was told that there was no order for me and was argued with. And then my order was suddenly found. I've sat with my food in front of me more than 1 time at this restaurant while others at my table, including children, have waited an additional 25 minutes or more before their food arrived. We have been served food that was cooked but the temperature was cold. Today was nephew, who is a toddler, brought his child cup in with water in it. I was confronted in a very hostile and confrontational way and told that the cup couldn't be there because either the Oregon Food handlers or the OLCC doesn't allow this (they couldn't tell me if it was one or both of these entities). Either way the situation was handled poorly, including a staff person being extemely condescending and in my personal space. And then we sat there with our meal while staff stared and whispered. When we received half of our tables meals the server asked if we had everything we needed while 3 people at our table had no food. We said, well we do need the rest of our food. The server said in a very snappy tone, oh yeah that's coming. At the same meal we watched people standing around the pizza make table with hair that was unrestrained and dangling over the make table along with baggy sweatshirts on the staff whose hands were in the food. This was not one staff member but all. This poses more of a health issue than a toddler bringing in his cup with water in it. I will no longer overlook these things to pay for my meal and then be...
Read moreThe food was good like always (a little burnt or there was burnt stuff in the oven already but still good). They had signs on both doors that they were short staffed so there might be a little extra wait (which is totally fine, we had no problem waiting since the food is usually good). The gal taking our order did not seem like she wanted to be there, like at all, and just walked away from our table without saying anything when she was done writing the order. After waiting 30 mins for our pizza we noticed the reason why there was more of a wait may have been because the 2 people that were making the pizzas were just casually chit chatting and would just stop making the pizzas to talk at times. I think I saw 6 employees but only 1 girl bussing tables and 1 doing the register seemed to care, so sorry to those 2 for the low service rating. I understand being short staffed, I would have waited as long as it took them to make it regardless of how long it took. But having signs up like seems like a stretch when the people working (other than the 2 I mentioned) really did not seem like they wanted to be there or cared about the product or customers. For context also, there was 3 tables when we came in, 1 of which was already mostly served. There was atleast 2 to go orders that seemed confused on what was taking so long also because they kept looking towards the employees and 1 of the tables as well seemed equally confused. When we left about 7:17-30 ish there was one of them sitting at the bar and the other one just chit chatting again with him when there was a girl bussing tables by herself and one doing other various things. The pizza is always good, and we will go back but it just didn’t seem like the wait was warranted because of them being short staffed, but more so the employees not really caring about working which is a bummer because being the only pizza place in town like it they could probably do a lot better with some better staff...
Read moreVery rude staff members specifically Emily. 4 woman went in for dinner with our kiddos thinking this would be a family friendly option, we were wrong. We spent well over $200 on food and drinks. Kiddos requested quarters ($20 worth) for games which there is only one game but there were candies and toys in a quarter machine by the door which was farther from us as we were sat in the back for our large group. Staff did not like the kids going back and forth to spend their quarters, we were asked to have the children sit down, mind you the children were not running or screaming or being loud. Just having a good time bringing back their small toys. We ordered one pitcher of beef among 4 adults which is 1 glass each, when we requested a second pitcher they cut is off and asked if we needed boxes, pretty much telling us we are no longer welcome. We ordered 3 different types of their largest pizzas to share among other items and 2 of the 3 pizzas were almost still whole.. we packed up and chose to eat at home sadly. When paying I requested a business card from Emily who said she will get it in a minute, took my payment and kept assisting people behind me as I stood in front of the registered she kept reaching past me, super rude instead of helping me 1st completely and says is this about the pitcher? I said no, I would just like a card please. She then disappeared in back and when I asked another employee to find her after about 5 more minutes of waiting the other employee asked what I needed rudely. Then some man at the bar top with glasses, probably a boyfriend of one of the employees walked away, grabbed a business card and slammed it down on my pizza box I was holding in front of my child. It was just insane!!!!! We love supporting small business, this was extremely disappointing… We all will forever remember the way they treated our group of Mothers with...
