A Culinary Gem in Mollala - Don't Miss This Spot!
If you're in Mollala and craving some standout Asian cuisine or a stellar burger, look no further than this new restaurant that's stirring things up with its innovative menu. My family and I recently dined here, and I can't rave enough about the experience!
First off, the food. The Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles had authentic flavors that transported us straight to the streets of Bangkok. My wife and I both opted for the Oklahoma Onion Burger, and calling it "fire" would be an understatement. Absolutely delicious! The smashing technique they use really locks in the flavors. My son devoured his Original Double Smash Burger in what seemed like seconds--a testament to its tastiness. Meanwhile, my daughter's Walnut Shrimp was clearly made to order; it's rare to find Chinese food that fresh and flavorful. It's a breath of fresh air to see food prepared right before your eyes, ensuring both quality and taste are at their peak.
The owners are just as impressive as their food. They're super friendly and genuinely interested in customer feedback, which is always a good sign. They shared that they're considering expanding the menu but are cautious due to the traditional tastes of our small town. I think dishes like the wings they're contemplating, inspired by the renowned Pok Pok, would be a sensational addition. The secret sauce--oh, the sauce! It's a spicy Asian chimichurri that's kept in the back, and it's unlike anything I've ever tried. You've got to ask for it; it's a game-changer!
Service was smooth and attentive, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our meal. It's clear that the restaurant not only aims to please but also to introduce some innovative dishes to the local culinary scene.
Overall, this place is a treasure that Mollala is lucky to have. It's perfect for anyone looking to shake up their dining routine with some seriously good eats. Can't wait to return and see what new items they might introduce next. If you find yourself in the area, don't just pass by--give it a try and support this fantastic local business. You won't be disappointed!
We didn't get any pics as we just straight devoured the food without even thinking about taking some pics....
ย ย ย Read moreStopped in for our first time. They have Asian influenced and American food. The kitchen staff is on it. Fast service! And when they bring the food out or even chopsticks my wife asked for, it's placed on the table with style like a fancy restaurant. Similar to a Japanese tea ceremony. Like art. Not just plopping it on the table. Everything has a great presentation.
The food ..
I ordered the bacon jam smashburger. I love the way they do the buns. Like inverted?. Clever and tasty!. Bacon caramelized onions Angus beef chopped, Delicious! Literally dripping with yumminess. I also ordered the garlic fries. Nice skinny long fries crispy and the garlic seasoning on it was delicious. Not too garlicky and real garlic. Not the stuff in the jar you sprinkle. My wife ordered yakisoba and since it was our first time she had spice level 1. She said that was nice and spicy. She probably won't need to do it two next time. It wasn't too hot to ruin the lunch just enough to make her nose sniffle a little bit which is perfect for us. It was very flavorful and didn't taste like it was smothered in fish sauce like a lot of Asian places do. I think the best thing was the attitude of all the workers. They really have a positive, friendly attitude and care about what they're doing. They've been there for a year and a half But they still act like they just opened. Not complacent. No negative attitude. Excellent customer service. This is a nice little gem in molalla. We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu. The only thing that confused me was on the menu when I looked up fries or tots. I thought the prices were for small and large but the prices are for fries and tots. Now I know. I also thought most of the Asian dishes all had shrimp on it based on what I saw on the website pictures. But in actuality there are different meats. You can choose to go with the Asian dishes other than shrimp. So next time I'll know better. I'm not a fan of shrimp . That was the only thing that confused me but that may be because I looked at the menu online and not at the actual menu they have at the restaurant when I decided what I wanted. I can't wait to try something else on the Asian...
ย ย ย Read moreWell worth the trip! We were travelling from the coast to visit family, searched for best food in Mollalla and the internet did not disappoint. Although I was tempted by their burgers and loaded fries, we ended up having the kimchi & spam fried rice, and the Fire pad thai with shrimp. The kitchen was quick, and although there was a mix up about the shrimp when the amazing staff talked us into the Fire pad thai instead of the regular pad thai, which they quickly corrected. The food was even better than expected. One of if not the best pad thai we've had, and the kimchi Spam fried rice is not to be missed for anyone looking for an umami-bomb treat! I can't sign off without talking about the spicy stuff. So much flavor that you won't mind the heat! Error on the side of not spicy enough if you're unsure, but seasoned spicy food veterans might want to start at 4/5 before jumping all in. No matter your level of heat, it's all...
