Bobablastic Molalla — Restaurant in Molalla

Last night 12/4/23, I decided to give this place a try for the first time. My parents were over and needed dinner. We looked at the menu online and decided on Sweet and Sour Rice bowls. At approx. 730pm I walked in the door and the very nice person behind the counter asked what they could get for me. I started to order food and was told that since it was so close to closing time they had put the food away and it was not available. Their website says they close at 9pm. I added up what I was going to buy, food and drinks, and it came to just under $60. Instead of getting $60 dollars and a possible return customer, I bought 1 tea, only 3 sugar free options to choose from, and left. I do not plan on returning. I went in today to order 5 drinks. The girl who took my order was very nice and very friendly. There was also someone in front of me before I ordered who ordered lots of food items and drinks. The girl look was stressed and was making all the products alone. While the owner was standing there messing with his tool box the whole time just staring at us we had to wait 20 minutes standing there while the owner was standing around messing with the fake tile on the wall while his teenage worker was making a million drinks and a bunch of food items. It had a really nice atmosphere and there were lots of cool game and movie figurines in the corner. When I went they were having trouble with the electricity and they didn’t have any hot food so I just got a matcha milk tea with tapioca balls. It was good unfortunately I discovered I don’t like matcha flavored milk tea. The prices were a bit higher than other places that sell milk tea and they only had one size so I couldn’t get a small one. The customer service was great and the employees were polite and quick.
