Taqueria La Silleta — Restaurant in Molalla

Nachos are NOT the best they could be - I do about 5 layers when I build my nachos at home. Its easy and only takes a few mins to make it work. Chips, cheese, meat, cheese, chips, more meat and more cheese.

What I received and tried to enjoy was a pile of chips and meat and bit of sour cream? And pickled veggies. NO CHEESE anywhere!!!! Just soggy greasy chips at the base. To be fair its probably my fault for thinking a picture was going to be what I got. Assuming it was going to be made how I do it. Silly me. Never again!!!

The meat was amazing and after I got home and threw out the soggy chips, restacked the layers with judicial application of Doritos, shredded cheese and liquid queso cheese with the delicious meat it was perfect.

Maybe next time I will just order a pound or 2 of the meat, come home and make my own - hell I will just make my own meat and enjoy My nachos my way.

4th time here and previous 3 were very good despite lack of cheese but then I had ordered burritos instead.

I'm sad to report that something has happened to our favorite taco truck.

We were there this week, and were badly disappointed.

I had the taco plate, and was shocked at what has happened to prices.. and the the double whammy - the portions had shrunk. The tacos were almost empty!

And to add insult to injury, we asked twice, for no onion.. repeated by the order taker.. and guess what? It was loaded with tiny diced onion!

I don't know what has happened, but.. one more chance to get it right... And if not, I won't be back.

Either raise prices or cut quantity... Not both!

And pay attention.. get the order...

I have driven by this taco truck for years and never stopped. I've always heard from my son and friends that the food was excellent but was hesitant nonetheless. Today my friend suggested we go there since she had recently tried it with her husband and had loved it. We each had the taco plate and I was so happy that I finally tried it. The Carne asada was wonderful and the lime was fresh and juicy. The beans and rice were incredible. No crazy seasonings, just beans with cheese melted on top and lightly flavored rice.
