BEWARE OF BIN MANIA IN JOHNSTOWN! I am not one to diss on companies, but the Bin Mania in Johnstown just stole $84.35 from me. I have recordings of our phone calls and how I was treated as well. Story- I went there to see what they had, ended up buying some odds and ends and an air fryer. I purchase it with cash, leave and just sat in my front seat of my vehicle. All of a sudden one of the employee's come running after me to let me, (like something was wrong)to let me know that he found a margarita machine and that no parts were missing and to come back in and he can ring me up for it (I was asking about a margarita machine when I was in there). I thought it was super weird but I wanted a margarita machine, so I went back in and purchased this on my credit card. I get it home, show my husband and we are looking it over (which I should have looked it over while in the store but I took the guys word for it since he ran me down in my van) and it was missing a part at the bottom. I was beyond frustrated! I live 45 min from this place and was told I this machine had all the parts and it turns out it didn't.... So a couple days later, I drive all the way back to Johnstown to return my this machine and I decided to return the air fryer as well bc I did not trust that all the parts were there. I had both of my receipts for each of those transactions. A older guy named Bradley (I guess the owner) rang me up. He did the air fryer first, bc I purchased this with cash, I got the cash back. Then on to the Margaritaville machine. I paid with my card, he asked for my card that I paid with and I gave it to him. He proceeded to tell me that it was going to go back on my card. He gave me a receipt and my card back and I left. I have been waiting of that money to come back on my card since right before Christmas ($84.35 to be exact). As I'm laying at home recovering from being sick, I check my account and realize that it was never refunded to me. I called in today to let them know that it was never credited back to my card, they took down my name and info and said they would call back.... Well they called back only to tell me that they did refund the $84.35 in cash..... Except they didn't. He took my card and "put it back on my card". I am 1,000% positive that no cash was given to me for this machine. When I would tell Bradley that he did not give me the cash for it, he then accused me of calling him a liar and at one point hung up on me. I found my receipts and took a look, beside the credit card info it does say "Refund Auth" , but it does say cash underneath the total. He keeps saying that since the receipt says cash that he gave me the cash. I proceeded to tell him that he did not give me anything but my card and a receipt back, I remember telling my husband that we would have to wait until the money is back on the card so I could get him something else for Christmas. I asked that he check the balance of the drawers for that day, he immediately came back and said they were balanced (it was so quick with the response, I questioned whether he actually looked). I asked for the security video. I said I could 100% prove it was not handed to me. He said the footage deletes after 7 days. He keeps saying that it was refunded in cash.... over and over and over..... He didn't hand me a dime. This man is set that because the receipt says Cash that he "gave me cash" even though he didn't. If they had the video, they would clearly see that there was no cash handed to me. As of now, the I texted the owner my receipts. I showed him that it says "Refund Auth" where it has my card info on when I purchased it. Our conversation on text is just getting no where. Looks like the end result is going to be that I was flagged down in my vehicle and was played for $84.35. Never again will I go to this place. I do not recommend this place. Beware of what you buy from there. There will more than likely be missing pieces (even though they assure there is not) to the big products, and you will be called a liar and taken for your money. Read moreWalked into this place about a month ago due to a friend recommending it, and frankly I couldnt be happier with it. The place is clean, well lit, and the staff are very friendly and eager to help you.
This superstore consists of both Binmania and Pallet Stacks Liquidation, Different businesses collaborating together to share their wares and experiences. Store goes its very clean, shelves are fully stocked, restrooms well maintained, and multiple hand sanitizing stations store to keep you COVID-19 safe.
SuperStore has a few purposes. Binmania has handmade bins that are restocked twice a week with retail products and price per item vary depending on the day.
Pallet Stacks Liquidation on the other hand has entire pallets of product for you to buy, these items are either brand new, or open box returns and are sold way below retail price. Depending on its contents and the quantity within the palettes. They also never cherry pick, meaning they do not check the contents of the bins and or rearrange items from one container to the next. Witnessed personally their process of unloading the stock directly from the trucks to the retail floor. Items consist of home goods, online retailer returns, building supplies, and more, i hit the 4000 character limit. You are permitted to view the contents of the palettes and ask questions, the staff is quite knowledgeable about the products they sell and are happy to help with curbside service as well.
The third aspect of this store is their stocked products in which they sell individually on the walls. Each item is tested, reviewed and posted at %50 retail price. If an item, let us say, a high-end 70 inch LCD television that sells retail for $450, you can find it there for as low as $250. Definitely the place to find deals within every nook and cranny. Their stock as well changes daily, and you never know what you are going to find. I must also say that if there is a problem with an item, most items carry a 7-day return policy unless stated on the items barcode. Some heavy scratch and dent items do not carry such a return option however, so pay attention to the items when you decide to purchase. Either way, is day %99 of the time you are going to find a great deal. Feel wise in the knowledge you have made a wise choice not to pay %100 retail and save half your price for more essential items.
Speaking of essential items, while I visted last, in stock were +30oz pump containers of hand sanitizer to help prevent Covid-19 with pumps for $3 each or 4/$10. At $9 from an online retailer. You can buy a case of 12 for $30. I must use this every day working with clients, this has saved me a ton of money on PPE. I could be selfish and keep a little gem of a store to myself but this is a small business being run by Americans. I feel that its my obligation to share with others and hope you share your experiences with others. it is almost addictive as you never know what you are going to find.

Read moreI was so excited for Bin Mania. I had been watching their Facebook for months and even asking questions about certain items and which location was busiest on certain days to plan my trip. I chose Johnstown because they had a few items that interested me that were going to be in the bins on the $7 Friday. When I arrived at 9:36am, there was a line, which is fine and I expected it. What I didn’t expect was the rudeness by grown adults as people searched through the bins. I’d almost get to the bottom of a bin just to have someone throw items on top of my hands and arms! After dealing with that and searching most of the bins, I decided to check out the shelf items. I was so excited when I found a diaper genie my pregnant sister had been asking for. It was $11 cheaper than any store. To me, it appeared unopened and brand new. When I got home, I decided to check every item. What I found was that the cool mist humidifier from the bin I was excited to find was missing pieces and even had water spots and mold like it had been used several times. It was missing the two most important parts for it to function also. So that went into the dumpster. I also found that my “brand new, unopened” diaper genie was missing the refill it was supposed to come with. Good thing I bought some. I was going to see about returning the items but I also realized that no one gave me a receipt. I definitely won’t be returning to this location. I might try Heath sometime but...
