This is a Goodwill Superstore. I know my Goodwill's, trust me. It's the largest I've ever seen, and I go to the Goodwill whenever I go somewhere new, including vacation. I think I've been to most in the state of Pennsylvania. This one, although kinda crusty and dusty (like most of them) has a mega selection. That said, THE CLOTHING is always clean at Goodwill. They don't just put anything they find on their sidewalk on a hanger straight away. They clean the clothing. So crusty and dusty refers more to the shell, not the contents.
For this location, pack a lunch people, because shopping here is an all day affair. I wouldn't try to do a thorough shop here with little kids though, it would bore them to death. You can't go wrong with a trip to goodwill. BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE, THIS IS NOT A CHARITY. ITS A CORPORATION AND THEY'RE MAKING MILLIONS FOR THEIR CEO, PRESIDENT, etc. If you're looking to donate to needy, go to Salvation Army. Or the Food Bank, your local Church (probably the...
Read moreI left the store feeling bad about myself due to the store associates, one told me I should be a witch for Halloween due to my hat and I guess overall "vibe" which I took as endearing the first time but she said it multiple times throughout my shopping trip and it left me feeling uncomfortable. One of the other store associates Chey had told me at check out she was giving my friend a discount for all her blue tagged items as well as her green tags, which blue was not supposed to be discounted till the next day (today), I thought she was joking because she had literally been bombarding me and my friend with nonsense the entirety of our shopping experience and it was hard for me to connect the dots on what she was saying. But she indeed gave my friend a discount and not me. The store it's self is very organized however has a bit of a urine smell....
Read moreI have donated so much to them over the years. I see so much being thrown away also. Need to give it to the people in need of the things. They throw a lot of nice things away, roll off dumpster full at times. Their prices are getting out of hand. I have complained many times over BUT they compare there prices over the internet. I don't know if all other Goodwills are like this or not. In my 12 years I used to shop there at least 3-4 times a week if not more. When retail came in to the store, prices went up. They have lost a good customer along with a lot of my family an friends that see what there doing as well. I am cleaning out my house and taken all my clothes to charities people who need them more than this Goodwill and the dumsters. I will still shop at Goodwills shop there most of my life. I just believe this one...
