Dan at Hometown Blinds made our window treatment experience a breeze! From the moment we contacted him, he was friendly, attentive, and truly listened to our needs. He brought samples to our home, explained the pros and cons of different options, and never tried to pressure us into anything. It was refreshing to work with someone who genuinely wanted us to make the best decision for our windows, not just their bottom line.

When we first saw Norman Blinds we liked the buttery-smoothness of them, but they were a bit outside our budget. Dan worked his magic and found a way to get us our dream blinds at a surprisingly affordable price. For the same blinds in the market , we got ridiculous quotes and didn't even consider. This experience cemented one thing for us: local dealers truly have the upper hand over impersonal, corporate setups. Dan wasn't just selling blinds, he was building relationships.

We had a fantastic experience working with Dan from Hometown Blinds! From the very beginning, he was knowledgeable, helpful, and incredibly patient as he walked us through all the different blind options. He brought swatches to our home and explained everything in detail. He showed the difference in color in the shade, in the sun, against our flooring and our wall colors to be sure we liked the color. We expressed that we wanted blackout blinds for the bedrooms and light-filtering options for the living and bonus rooms.

We were concerned about glare on our living room TV, and Dan thoughtfully recommended the dual shades. He even gave us quotes with and without the dual option so we could make an informed decision. He measured everything on the spot, helped us pick out colors, and let us know that the blackout lining might slightly alter the final shade—which we really appreciated knowing ahead of time.

Even though we hadn’t moved into our home yet during the measurement, Dan reassured us that we could reach out if anything seemed off once we settled in. Installation was quick, smooth, and professional, and everything turned out exactly as planned.

I haven't experienced such exceptional customer service in a while! I was starting to wonder if businesses even cared about their clients or the quality of work, but Hometown Blinds does both. I worked with Dan (owner) and Jonny (installer). From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. Not once did I have to track Dan down for updates because he told me what to expect up front and proactively sent me updates along the way. He showed when he said he would, was super respectful and kind, and always responsive. He brought samples to our appointment and made recommendations on what was best for what we wanted without trying to upsell us. Install was smooth and professional and Jonny is just as friendly as Dan. Only one shade was slightly too narrow, and one had been a tiny bit damaged during shipping. Without me having to point anything out (I didn't even notice the damage on the one), Jonny immediately got in touch with Dan and Dan ordered two new shades that will be installed on arrival. In the meantime they left the other ones up so that we wouldn't be without something covering the two windows. The cost was comparable, and actually a but under, another local company.
