Monroe Farmers Market — Local services in Monroe

We recently moved to Monroe and heard great things about Monroe Farmers Market. What a hidden treasure for those of us who love farm-to-table options. There’s fresh free-range eggs in several sizes and colors. Homegrown beef, pork, whole chicken and with no antibiotics. Large choice of fresh fruit and vegetables. Even sourdough bread in several flavors. Sourdough and Sunshine is the vendor. Have to get to that vendor early because she always sells out! We’ll definitely be making this our Saturday morning routine. There’s food trucks, friendly people and a great selection of products. Open only until noon, so plan on going early....

The produce is beautiful, the people are so friendly, and the market was buzzing this morning!! We picked up some simple produce here and there, but the main objective was to buy raw honey. Found the stall we were looking for, was offered a taste of both amazing honeys they offer (Dee's Bees was who we purchased from), and came home with delicious wildflower honey! Oh my goodness, what a special little Farmers market! Far better than larger markets near where I live. Great produce at great prices. Vendors so friendly, the best of small town America. We especially enjoyed the quality beef and meats at the Kappy farms booth.Way better tasting than supermarket meat!
