The store seems fine with decent people working there. However I wouldn’t take a hairless cat there for grooming because they would find a way to mess up their cut. We had one dog of ours groomed (cocker) there and they did good. A couple weeks later we had our other dog (English springer spaniel) groomed. She was groomed to our “specifications” but the execution was awful. The second grooming we got for our cocker we used the same notes as his first grooming. His cut is awful. The one thing in the notes that actually mattered was to leave his long curly ears LONG. I didn’t pay much attention when I picked him up but when we got in the truck I noticed his shaved ears. I spoke with the groomer on the phone when I got home to express my concerns. She told me she followed the notes from the previous grooming. So if she did just that then she did her job wrong the first time and didn’t cut his ears. But she was negligent of her notes on this second cut and cut his ears short. **This is for grooming services. This is my second time using Petsense and this will be my last. The first time I went was great and I thought I found my place but I was wrong. My husband walked in and said we want the same service we had before. When he picked my dog up, he was charged for the essential package which we did not add the first time because we never add extra anything that we do ourselves at home. They told my husband that's what he had the first time. Per my bank statement that is proven to be a lie. We payed $56 which is the base with no extra $25. So please don't tell me I paid for something that I didn't when I have proof. The manager's response was to double check the services when they ask but why would I do that when I know I never add anything extra. This seems very scammish and they will never get my money again. Read moreSo my review goes to the grooming department. We’ve been coming here for Grooming for quite a while, and unfortunately, our groomer left!! And ever since our grooming experience has just gone downhill and would not recommend them anymore!! I have never been charged a handling fee for my dog, EVER!!! And today they tried to charge me a $30 fee because my dog was hard to handle?!?!?! Which made my bill go from a $20 bath to a $50 bath which is RIDICULOUS!!!
Not only that, but I’ve never had any issues with my dog being groomed once again until now. They gave him a janky haircut because apparently he was unmanageable (they tried to give him a schnauzer cut), And like I said, the previous groomers have never had an issue which makes me think there’s an issue now with the new groomers!! And not only that they advertise that your seventh Grooming is free, but yet we have never been offered that Fact, we’ve been there at least 10+ times!!! Because we used to come once a week, I wish I could leave them a better review because we were very dedicated to them but now we are gonna have to go elsewhere!
