My family and I have been there once and I’ve called once. Both experiences have been the absolute worst. This is a brand new establishment, I understand it takes time to learn your position, but it’s common sense to be polite. Especially to the people spending $60 that pays their salary.
Our first visit we spent $60-ordered 3 meals, decided to get shakes instead of drinks, we pull up to pay, get our food, the young woman comes out to say we are being refunded for our shakes (the machine was down) proceeded to wait 45 minutes, to not only get the wrong amount but to not even have the option of having a drink, which we offered to pay the difference. We were told “it’s too late”.
I made a simple phone call to double check that they are open 24 hours, the “manager” paused, sighed and responded with “yea”. I let it go, I totally get it’s late, she may be tired or just busy, but regardless customer or not it’s NOT OK to speak to anyone like that. I asked if their ice cream machine was working, I was rudely interrupted with “the shakes aren’t made of ice cream, so NO it isn’t”. I asked for the manager and was told she was the manager. If she’s the manager, this store should absolutely rethink their hiring process on employees.

Read moreHubby & I came here and ordered in the kiosk at 803p. It's now 835p, and we haven't gotten our food. Meanwhile, 3 walk-ins came in 15 minutes after us and already received their food. Their service is ridiculous when all we ordered was a burger, fish sandwich, and 2 order of onion rings. Hubby is waiting up front right now asking where our food is. Skip this place and go somewhere else. I'm sure McDonald's has faster service than this.
Update: We finally got our food at 850.. ridiculous. They manager on duty stated the kiosk didn't send our order to the back. We told them, "that's not our problem... we need to be compensated.." They told us they couldn't issue refunds so they gave us 5 Free whataburger (with purchase of fries & drink) coupons, 2 extra brownies and an extra order of onion rings. At that point I was highly annoyed and we ate in our car, since we were 40 minutes away from home.
Take this review how you want it, but this was ridiculous and couldn't even offer a refund so we could be on our way..

Pulled up, again just 2 other cars ahead of me. Had to wait forever. Drove away and to the next town ( as I’m working) opened my $10.48 burger 🍔 and it was loaded with cheese and Onions! Urgg, I called the store asked for the manager Nicole again had to wait forever for her to pick up. When I explained what happened she responded Oh I’m so sorry, just come back. I explained I’m working and have left Monroe and will not be back for 6 weeks. I suggested she take the receipt number and refund my money. She said she was not able to do that it had to be done in person bringing the incorrect sandwich back in with me. Well this was my First & Last Visit to Whataburger! Over prices Birgers and Bad Customer Service!!
