Houss Freya is an enchanting experience. You walk into this old church and you enter an immediately you are surrounded by the most delicious fragrances and an aura that makes you feel so safe and calm. I was greeted by Jasmine as I was looking at an incredible offering of houss made Candles, a magical perfume called love witch, & other perfume selections- all kinds of products for the face and body and soul. There are even homemade smudge sprays and I bought one called money magnet. You must go there to experience these aromas in essence‘s cause they are so pure and combined for a desired result. Jasmine was so helpful and then introduce me to the remarkable owner and curator of the products – DAYSI. To meet her is to understand the healing energy, the uplifting energy and the beautiful energy of the store.

I have learned that it is a gift to share with others hidden gems that become my hidden secrets because the work that I do with others coming from a medical field and working on integrative medicine techniques And being highly trained, having so many certifications, and just for my own experience, knowing the real deal, I am very selective about where I would buy any products. I have one place in New York City, where I buy all my aromatherapy oils -She’s my perfume very carefully – and now I have another hidden jewel. I can’t begin to describe how much I love Houss Freya and what this special place is doing for our community. If you’re at all interested in “witchy stuff” or spiritualism, this is THE place for you. Daisy, the owner’s, vision and intention for her patrons is to help them learn, grow, and connect with spiritual ideas. Most of all, it feels like a place to make connections and find community, something I believe we all need more of right now. The staff is SO helpful and kind, and literally no question is too silly — don’t be nervous if you’re a beginner! No judgement at all, they’re all so encouraging and knowledgeable. I LOVE the products (the candles, body oil, and intention sprays are my top faves) but where this special place really shines is their classes and events. I’ve learned so much already off of just a handful of classes about protection and had my aura read, and there’s usually someone there doing some kind of reading (tarot, etc) you can enjoy. I went out in the world today looking for something to celebrate the winter solstice and a random Google map search lead me to this store. I loved it so much! The place is beautifully decorated and smells wonderful. The open door even in December, felt welcoming. I am a bit anxious going to new places, especially when it involves a community whose members can sometimes be gatekeepy, but the one staff member was very friendly and seemed genuine and did not make me feel out of place. I smelled every single candle, roller oil, and much of the incense. I lingered over the crystals, the tarot cards, and the reference books of spells and herbology. Nobody bothered me and I relaxed as I went along. I was so happy to discover they had special winter solstice products that smelled strong and like good quality ingredients and I left with the Yule candle and roller oil, as well as some incense and other roller scents. 10/10 experience, already told two friends in the area, and I...
