you wanna know how good this restaurant is?!? Well let me tell you folks sitting at home reading reviews. I have never written a review and this place is just so amazing. Its like a nice walk on the beach during the sunset. More into why i like it is because of the great RAMEN. IM A RAMEN FANATIC BECAUSE IM ASIAN AND THIS PLACE DOES IT RIGHT. Pardon my run on sentences my teachers are bad. Anyway, i was sitting here watching my cousin and sister perform a mama mia dance and all i could think of is fujiya ramen. Personally i think i bought over 3 grand of the spicy miso ramen because thats the good sheeet. I also recommend adding chicken to the spicy miso ramen because thats a god sent. My friends, if you go there and do see me that would be a shocker. I used to go to ani ramen right next to fujiya but one day it was too crowded and my mom just said lets go to fujiya. My first reaction was hhhheeeellllllll noooo. Then, i tried it and it was WAYYYYY better. Ani ramen im sorry bud but i like your cousin next door better. Damn wait i hope ani ramen wont sue me. Anyways please eat here because its like my second home and i love this place so much. I have taken loads of family from out of state and even out of the county there. My eyes are tearing up just at the thought of not being able to eat there tomorrow. Ok bye fellows eat at fujiya or i will...

This ramen is SO UNDERRATED!! I honestly don’t understand How they do not have thousands of 5 star reviews. I used to go all the way to Fort Lee for ramen but felt lazy this past weekend so I decided to give this place a try. I am so happy I did because they blew me away. The quality of the broth (I had Shoyu ramen) was amazing and rich in flavor without being greasy or oily. The portions for the to-go orders are very good for the price so I hope they don’t change that. The pork buns are delicious and the pork for their ramen and buns was so tender and melts in your mouth! I honestly wish they had a thicker cut of their pork because it was very delicious and it would’ve made the ramen that much better. All in all, I would definitely become a regular when buying ramen here.

I tried the competition down the street, Ani ramen, and was disappointed with the amount of food for the price. The only good thing was their portions with the pork which were bigger slices than in Fujiya but it was not soft, it was a little dry and hard. So I definitely tried both and one of...

My son and I have eaten there twice now. With the opportunity to sample 4 mains and two sides.

First off.. the specials if you can handle a some spicy heat, and pork belly are exceptional. Rich, flavorful excellence. I have had both the Butniku ramen and the Yaki-Udon with pork. Both were excellent.

My son ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen which was very good but we both agreed not in the same class as the Butniku ramen. Good but not exceptional. On our second visit. he had the Shoyou ramen. Still very good however not a stand out like the specials.

We also had the Tebaski chicken wings, which may seem a bit pricy for 4 wings.. but were perhaps the best chicken wings I have ever had. Not spicy at all.. but the crispy fry was most excellent.

All in all.. I plan to go back again soon.. the specials are exceptional if you can stand a bit of heat. The regular ...

My wife and I went to Montclair for the sole purpose of trying out Ramen at Ani's. But that Saturday evening Ani was packed with a line reaching out the door and it was raining. So in the spirit of not leaving with our stomachs empty and desire to satiate our Ramen cravings we started to walk down the avenue and stumbled upon this place. We saw that it was full of patrons as well, but luckily for us they had a open table for 2. The staff here are nice, friendly and attentive. We ordered as an appetizer the Takoyaki (wich is Octopus rolled into a ball), for entree I got Chicken Curry for myself and Spicy Miso Ramen with Roasted Pork for my wife. The meal was very good, Octopus full of flavor, my curry was huge and tasty and her Ramen was superb. Although we still would like to check out Ani up the road, we would love to come back to Fujiya and try more tasty meals from their menu.

I eat Spicy Miso Yaki Udon from Fujiya Ramen probably every other day of my life with my girlfriend. This restaurant is ON POINT. They truly care for their customers - and prioritize quality and consistency. As an original Japanese Ramen house founded in Tokyo decades ago you can expect traditional Japanese food. As a regular I am privelaged to receive an occasional free sample or a smiley face on the receipt. It’s really the little things that make the difference. Don’t expect the spirited away bowl with chopsticks - that privilege I enjoy thanks to my GF :)! Order from Fujiya Ramen, then do it again. You won’t regret it. Loyal Customer David P

As a hardcore fan of ramen, this is the worst ramen place I have been to. I drove 2 hours for this place because it claims it has a professional Japanese ramen chef. I feel false advertised. Let alone it's super unauthentic, it does not taste good. Pork is blank and chewy, super small portion. Weird service, with 8 available spots, the host told me and my friend to wait half an hour. After we sat down and there were two tables available, I saw the host made another party of four wait then seat them at the table that has been available at the beginning. Waitress never smiled at once.
