New to New Jersey and this is the place to go for my Doggos!!!! I visited the store and I was impressed with everything even the specialty items I bought back in Chicago were all right there in one place! I was greeted by the young gentleman at the register even though he was tending to another customer he was friendly and attentive. The bag of food I requested to be held was at the front waiting on me even though I was more than tempted to shop for more…which of course I did, my dogs loved the peanut butter pizza slices they have at the register. At that point I was smitten what won me over completely is the delivery service even though I am beyond local limits I was still able to get my pups food. I had to call the store just to let the owner know I appreciate the delivery driver for going that extra mile and bringing the dog food upstairs for my Wife she not to long ago gave birth so lifting heavy things is out. If you’re looking for amazing products and amazing customer service, go here. We shop here regularly for our dog’s food and supplements. Our dog and our family are always greeted so kindly - the staff is so welcoming there. But I must call out the owner, Mike. This individual is not only professional and kind, but he always puts the customer (both human and animal) first. We had an issue recently with a product we bought, but it was no fault to L&B. It was the manufacturer that was liable for this issue. Not only did Mike take care of the situation, he drove all the way to our home to deliver and apologize in person. What a stand up guy. L&B will be our forever place we shop for our dog because of Mike and the team there. They care about their customers and treat people (and animals) with so much respect. I found this pet shop while exploring Montclair. I’m originally from Portland, Oregon and I really miss the smaller more personable shops where the staff take their time with you and soon become familiar faces after repeat business. The owner fell nothing short of nice, personable, knowledgeable, and his recommendations were actually worthy of listening to when I explained what I was looking for. I have a spastic boxer that lives life on the edge, and toys have yet to keep her entertained for more then a couple of minutes before she chews through them. The owner pointed out some things she might like, and sure enough… she loves them! Thank you for bringing an aesthetically pleasing, quality product/goods shop to life with such wonderful staff.
