Admiring my nail polish today! 😍 it’s so pretty. Tina and her girls always made sure I got the right colors. Since we moved to Montclair early this year been getting my nails done at Nail Fitness Montclair. Tina is the best!, she makes me so comfortable and relax. I also never had a bad nail day with them, where I have to go back coz my polish started chipping off in lest than a week or worst within 24hrs. That had have been my experience to some nail salon in Jersey & NYC weather it a regular, gel, or dip powder polish. With Nail Fitness my manicure always lasted a month. Still intact no chipping just needed to be done coz my nails get too long in a month. My nails after they remove the gel polish always look healthy not yellowish. I also had a very brittle nails before but Tina told me that my nails will get stronger from their gel manicure application. Which turn out to be true in my case. Been meaning to write a review for a while but I always forgot to take a close up photo of my nails after getting done but today is the day to appreciate them. It’s also my first goggle review coz I love this place so much. They deserved all the love. First two pic mani of the day. I made an new client appt 2 wks ago 4pm for mani &;5pm for pedi . I called about 2 hrs prior let them know i was going to be running late. Jae answered the phone letting me know i don't have an appt and whoever made appt didnt have her appt book .she asked if i can come at 3:45 for mani & i can get pedi afterwards about an hour later . I told her that's pushing it if i couldn't be there at 4 what make her think I'd be there 3:45 . However, i arrived at 4:30 figuring I'll just get pedicure . I went to sign book and Jae the owner was rude and said that isn't the book to sign and she came over to desk and said i was late and she didn't think i was coming even though i confirmed appt . She said there were 5 people ahead of me and i can't be seen . Jae proceeded and said you can make an appt for another day. Absolutely not i won't patronize your business after being rude and didn't greet me when i walked in and said i was late . I agree with comments Jae is very rude. I went up 2 blocks to the new Montclair nail & spa everyone was pleasant and the owner walked 2 blocks to put his own money in the meter for me because I parked near Nail fitness . I've only been here twice for gel manicure and I have to say, Tina is THE best! I've always done my own nails, albeit they don't turn out like the ones on Pinterest or the youtube tutorials. I thought it was a waste of money and time, especially since I've had bad experiences. My friend and stumbled upon Nail Fitness on Yelp as we were looking for a good nail salon in the area. Tina is very detailed but efficient at the same time. I just showed her a picture online and Tina was able to recreate the nails exactly! My nail looked perfect in a decent amount of time. Both times, I've had compliments on my nails, so I trust Tina will do a good job!

The place is pretty small, with only 5 chairs for manis, and 5 or 6 chairs for pedis. There is a platic divider between you and the tech. Masks are required inside! They only do regular or gel, no powder, acrylic, hard gel, etc. If you're looking for fancy nails with the rhinestones, this place is not for you honey! Despite that, all the girls seem to do a good job with the manis. If you have a specific design, Tina does her best to accommodate.
