Sharon Sharon Sharon 🙄 just had the most unbelievable experience with the short haired cashier Sharon. I've never had a bad experience at this location, everyone is always courteous and helpful, but THIS lady? First of all, she hijacked our cashier, the sweet and helpful Sangeet, who was already doing a great job at helping us scan items. He was new though so she took it upon herself to oversee him. We were purchasing a display halloween decoration and were curious if we were paying full price or if they were going to sell it to us for less, which isn't absurd to ask because it happens all the time. We asked politely and she flat out told us no, we had to pay full price. Irritated at that point, we asked if she was a manager? No. Could you ask a manager for us? She calls one and makes it seem like we were complaining and trying to swindle. They took $40 off. Our 3 year old nephew was leaning on an electric cart basket and she flat out said "GET OFF THAT." Very rudely. Because she was so concerned about him ripping his shirt? Nice try, wrong guy. A pumpkin didn't have a sticker on it so I helpfully went outside to take a picture of the pumpkins and price and she has the nerve to say "well, that's not what I need." I shouldn't have gone back for that sticker, I should have made her go get it. Nevertheless, once everything was scanned she points at the card reader and says "were done? okay good. If you're using a card, stick your chip RIGHT HERE" and smacks the reader rudely, like I'm not educated enough to know how to check out and use my card. She then again turns to my 3 year old (who WAS putting his feet on the shelf by the checkout) and says "HEY! GET OFF THAT! Get OFF of THERE!" basically bum rushing him. I said "okay allllright..." and was about to lose my composure and she proceeds to tell me that "sAfeTy iS tHe FiRsT tHiNg wE leArN hEre" and that she was "concerned" about him getting hurt. Right. I'm sure you were Sharon. We get our carts to head out and she turns to my sometimes non-responsive, 12 year old AUTISTIC niece and says, "aren't you with them?" My niece didn't reply so we said yes for her, Sharon has the audacity to snootily say "okaaay" matter of factly, like "okay, then go." Even more audacity to say "you folks have a great evening." She was nasty, snooty, sarcastic and absolutely rude. I'm not sure why this employee is allowed ANY POSITION to work with the public. She obviously has some internal issues going on to make her so miserable. 0/10 would not recommend getting checked out by Sharon. I am a very humble, kind, understanding person and this lady literally almost took me way out of character. Everyone else in the store has always been respectful and helpful and I apologize for a bad review, but the world needs to know to be wary of...
Read moreThis store is horrible, especially their so-called assistant manager Kevin. We are renovating a house and bought 3,000 sq ft of flooring. It was not in stock and had to be ordered and delivered to our house. The first shipment came from Home Depot directly and we had no issue with the delivery. The second delivery came from a contracted freight company that Home Depot hires. We have a long driveway and had been waiting for the delivery for 3-5 days. It did not come on the day it was scheduled for delivery. My husband took off time from work to be there for the delivery. Finally when it was delivered, the ignorant driver would not drive up the driveway to deliver the flooring. He wanted to drop it in the street. How was my husband supposed to carry 3,300lbs of flooring up the driveway? The company was extremely rude and unprofessional. They blamed coofid which is a joke in itself. We went to Home Depot and explained the situation. They apologized up and down and said the company was wrong, and the store would make it right. Home Depot was supposed to personally deliver the flooring on a Friday and that never happened. We went back to the store and spoke to Kevin the assistant store manager. He just “yes-ed” us up and down, claimed he didn’t want to lose our business, etc. He said he would give us a small credit and refund the shipping. They kept giving us the run around about the delivery until finally we demanded it be delivered. I inquired again about the refund we were supposed to receive and no one had an answer. Funny enough, Kevin was “on vacation” and told the back up manager a lesser amount than what he promised. After all the empty promises, their mistakes, and the fact we had to take multiple days off from work - they should have compensated us. The whole order was nothing but a disaster. I would never shop in this store again. Kevin should learn some better management skills – he’s just the typical manager blowing smoke up your rear. We got pricing on a $25,000 kitchen at home depot and decided to go elsewhere because of this experience. Do yourself a favor – shop locally and avoid...
Read moreI chose Home Depot to purchase materials for my new home's renovation. Starting with hardwood floor to bathroom items, I spent over $25,000 at the Home Depot at Montgomeryville to purchase all the items together. My delivery for the engineered wood came with a wrong order to begin with. The pallets were delivered and stacked up dangerously that dropped to the floor several times causing a safety hazard. The items were returned manually by my contractor who lifted all 99 pellets by loading into his truck and took back to the store for a refund and reordered the correct items. The new delivery was suppose to be delivered on Monday this week which never came and was notified later than the order will be delivered on Thursday instead. Today, Thursday, the order was delivered with only 39 pellets instead of 99 pellets that were ordered, so missing 60 remaining pellets. Went back to the store to ask about the remaining delivery but the store manager was unable to find out what happen, where the remaining items were, or when these could be delivered. I have a move-in date scheduled next week that I cannot change and if the renovation is not going to be completed, I would have to move all of my stuff somewhere else. On top of this, my marble tiles for the bathroom came with half of items in broken pieces which my contractor had to go back to the store by manually delivering them again. The new marble tiles did not get delivered as of yet and work cannot get completed because of the missing items.
This is the worst experience I ever faced after spending all this money and will never go back to Home Depot to shop for anything in future...
