World Market — Local services in Montgomery Township

So I have only been here one other time and I had no problem. Today, I place an online order at 6:10 PM. I go to the store 30 minutes later since I just ordered a coffee syrup. The reason why I placed it online was because there was only 3 left in stock. I go to the store and the lady is very rude and aggressive telling me "it doesn't work that way". No problem. So I go and run my other errands. Around 7:30... I call. This girl name Payton answered the phone and hung up immediately when I said I wanted to Check my online order. So I call a second time... I said we must've gotten disconnected... hangs up immediately. 3rd time I call, I say can you please not hang up on me? She hangs up. So rude and uncalled for. Where is the workforce going these days. I will never go there again. Don't go here if you need to ask for assistance. It simply will not be provided...

This store is for those who want to be home entertainers...you know...your best friend who's always trying to be Martha Stewart. It has furniture, bar tools, kitchen stuff like those cute mason jars that Martha puts her sugar in, and those glass bottles she puts her homade ice tea and those wine decanters for the sangria ...lol.Theres also packaged food from around the world and nostalgic sodas. Funny cards and nic-nacs, like knobs that look handpainted incase you want to change up a drawer. The one downfall of the store is its name. If I didnt used to work at one years ago in NJ, I would probably think it's a place I have to bring my credit card and come out with the smallest bag of chocolate. There is chocolate btw but not bank breaking. Must try is milk chocolate...

I love World Market and was excited to visit the store even though it's 45+ minute drive. All of their stuff is amazing but please CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES on the snacks before you buy. I bought two packs of a snack (one to send to a friend and one for me to try at the same time) and they expired 10/2020 (it is now March 2021). I don't travel up that direction often and I'm torn whether to just give up on $8 wasted or to drive the whole way back just for my $8... Online customer service chat said there was nothing they could do, I have to go back to the store. Sigh. (But the rest of their home goods and decor etc is amazing per usual. Employees were very nice and friendly too, even right...
