Deeply disappointing experience at Sprouts.
We’ve shopped here before, but after our last visit we won’t be returning.
My 10-year-old son, who is autistic, was told he couldn’t take pictures. Of the grocery store aisle signs. Because it's "story policy." We've been to dozens of areas stores and none has given grief to us for a weird obsession my son has.
There was no kindness or understanding, just a Karen being rude.
The same staff member made us feel like beggars after asking for a sample of candy - which the signs invited us to do!
On top of that, prices were higher than expected and a lot of the produce looked days past its prime. The selection was very limited.
I expect better quality and basic respect from a grocery store that claims to care about healthy living and community.
We’ll be taking our business to Whole Foods or Trader Joes where the price is justified and the staff is...
Read moreAs a resident and food shopper of this area for years, I think it's safe to say that the store manager is confused. This isn't California. The prices are multiple dollars higher than other large food stores for the EXACT same products. In addition, the fresh loafs of bread were hard and in-house dinners had huge paragraphs of preservatives, added sugar and canola oil - no thanks. Bottled water was even high priced. I'm disappointed. I don't plan on returning anytime soon. Coming here just made me appreciate the other food stores more! Don't take my word for it, check out those high prices...
