Cho Cho San Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Montgomery Township

Their spicy tuna sandwich is sooo delicious! Love this place! I was celebrating my birthday on 11/22 with my aunt, who’s never been there before. She liked everything we had. So much so, that she plans on bringing her crew there for their next hang. We ordered from the lunch specials- eel for me with particularly tasty miso soup- I could smell the smoky scent that tells me it will be flavorful & it was. I HAD to have the spicy tuna sandwich too-it’s still as delicious as I remember from quite a few years ago. My aunt had a beef teriyaki bento box from the bottom of the lunch specials list on the menu & she enjoyed that & everything else in the Boxed Lunch. I let her try my eel and the marinated daikon from the platter & she was surprised at how yummy they both were. Portions were generous too. The staff were very nice, and attentive. This used to be our go-to for sushi. The last two times we’ve done take out, the food order was wrong and the quality not what it used to be. Both times we picked up, it was not delivered through a delivery service. We ordered spicy shrimp sandwich and received what we think was salmon. After arriving early for pick up and waiting for the order to complete, we were surprised when the squid tempura was ice cold and then tasted like old oiled was used to fry it. We also normally ask for a side of ginger dressing, but forgot. When we went back, they charged us $4 for a large container and said they could not give us a small side container. Surprising after spending over $50 on food. A side of dressing doesn’t seem to be asking much. We’ll be finding a new go-to for sushi. Disappointed but now we can explore other restaurants...

We love dining at this wonderful Sushi restaurant. The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious. We will often order take out or, occasionally invite friends or clients out.

There is a sun-tan place next door whose owner will harass you if you double-park outside of the Sushi restaurant. (I was parked far away from their business, and was asked by the sun-tan place owner to move my car.) Very rude. There were other girls in her establishment who yelled as well. I was surprised that this lady came out of her store and harrassed a customer from another business like this.

Scary women. Those people at the Sun-tan place next to Cho-cho San are scaring people away.

Enjoy the sushi, but avoid the Scary Sun Tan...
