LOFT — Local services in Montgomery

This was my first visit to LOFT. They had terrible customer service. I was completely ignored until I couldn't find what I was looking for & had to ask for help, but I felt like the two young ladies were annoyed that I interrupted their social time. They obviously couldn't care less about customers and potential sales. When one of the girls did try to help, she wasn't even listening to what I was looking for, which was a pretty broad spectrum of styles. I asked about tan cropped pants & she flat out told me, "This is the worst place to shop for anything khaki. It doesn't sale. You'd have better luck at Talbots or Chico's." I was looking to update my wardrobe, so I asked about blouses, but said I could not wear pastels because they don't go with my skin tone. She quickly barked back that pastels are the style & that I wouldn't have luck with much else. I reluctantly tried on 2 blouses. They were cut really small when the sales associate had just claimed their clothes were true to size. I wear a large shirt & the XL I tried on was very tight, like a medium at best. I promptly left & ended up buying 4 incredible outfits from Chico's. I'm sure they also really appreciate the business you sent to them. I love them so much, that I'm going to stick with Chico's in the future & don't plan on ever returning to LOFT. What a horrible...

I just had the worst experience of my life shopping at this store. Not once did any salesperson try to help me (too busy trying on clothes). I was corralling a 2 year old while I had arms full of clothes to try on (no one offered to start a fitting room for me) as I return to work in a week and need a new wardrobe. I needed different sized but not once did someone come check on me and offer though I was in there for 30 min. When I left the fitting room with my arms full again, no one asked how it went, nothing, and there was one other person in the store. I asked about a military discount as I saw an advertisement for a student/teacher discount. I was told no. I just spent $400 and am tempted to go return it all because I’m so disgusted with the service I received. I have been a long time customer of Loft but the staff at Eastchase were very rude regarding the mask policy. I briefly took my mask 1/2 off to tell my sister something and was addressed from across the store by an associate about putting it back on. She threatened to call security without giving me more than 10 seconds to put a mask back on. We put all of our purchases back and abruptly left.
