The Thrift Store — Local services in Monticello

This is by far the BEST thrift store I've ever been to! Huge selection of clothing, accessories, housewares, etc! The surplus of vintage items blew me away but the best part was the pricing. So many thrift stores are price gauging these days, but this is a true "thrift store" without any junky stuff! I could spend the entire day here and not see everything. What a rude couple! Not only did we have a car full of donations, we were going to buy a lot of things as well. We entered through the open front door TWO minutes before opening time and were promplty told "WE ARENT OPEN YET!" ....travelling from Australia, this was THE first time in all of the 50 states we have been to, that we have gobsmacked! . Wouldnt spend one penny there and have spread the word amongst our local friends! A huge loss for the store and the town. A VERY rude...

We love to come to this store and always find some unique and vintage items at least 1-2× a month. It's so worth the drive! We are always looking for some unique and good planters for sunroom and patio. I end up with several and other items for great prices.
