Big Chic — Restaurant in Monticello

The food was..ok..barely only thing made to order was the French fries chicken was luke warm from trays premade . I asked for thighs received all legs (should have tipped after eating instead of at your jar when i paid) both myself and my supervisor ordered specials and both were missing items but the most annoying point is one meal coming out 15 minutes and still missing half the fish. Second fillet comes out for the order of catfish ten minutes later and it has scales in the breading and hair on it....catfish dont have scales....or hair🤔 would be a little easier to keep up with two tables(with a total of three plates) if the girls weren't so obsessed with getting off at 3 and their personal drama they are...

Upon a friend's fervent recommendation dubbing Big Chic as "The Best Chicken in Georgia," I ventured to experience it myself. Verdict? Absolutely spot-on! Indulging in their delectable offerings was an experience akin to encountering sheer culinary delight.

The ambiance, nestled within the charm of the old town, added a quaint allure to the dining affair. Moreover, the service was notably commendable, enhancing the overall visit.

The standout stars of the menu were undoubtedly the tantalizing chicken dishes and delectable pies. So much so that I am unequivocally willing to traverse 37 miles again solely for another taste of this...

Arrived in downtown Monticello Georgia about 6pm hungry. I got out of the car and smelled fried chicken in the air. Finally traced it to Big Chic. I ordered catfish fillets and hush puppies, fried chicken breast, crinkle fries, fried okra, and potato salad. I got in there and had to try it all. IT WAS DELICIOUS. ALL OF IT!!! I cannot wait to try the whole catfish. I’m going back tomorrow, Saturday with one friend, and Tuesday with another friend. Local favorite I’ve learned. I will make the drive from Eatonton often.
