I cannot express how sorry of a place this is. The reviews you are reading about their attitudes towards customers are 100% accurate. When my husband and I came in to pick up the arrangement the lady who went to get it had and attitude. Then when I made a comment about it not looking like the picture it all went south from there. I came in contact with about 4 people, and it must be in their interview questions to have the worst attitude possible. Now this arrangement is something shown on their website, it is on the darker side I will attach a picture so you can see what I mean, dark pinks and reds, which is why I chose this one. I walk in to find a stark white hydrangea in the center of the arrangement. I told them this looks nothing like the picture on the website. I was told "it's just one flower seriously." I said yes, seriously that is the reason I ordered this particular arrangement. The stark white hydrangea stuck out like a sore thumb amongst the rest of the arrangement. I also upgraded to the "premium" arrangement. Well the arrangement they made was sparse, he counted and claimed it had everything it was suppose to. Well that's great, but the way it was put together it looks sparse. I wish I would have taken a picture but I didn't because I had no intentions at this point of keeping it. I was told " I was unrealistic" and was told "hydrangeas don't even come in the color" that is displayed on their website, that the picture on their website is just and "example." That if I want them that color they would have to be painted. That is such a lie because A. I had hydrangeas that color for my wedding and B. I just bought a bouquet from Publix with purple hydrangeas neither of which were “painted.” So, if you could have painted it the color of the picture that is displayed then why didn't you? If you can’t make something that is sold on your website what are you doing? You don’t advertise things you can't produce. So, he told me they aren’t held liable because it is stated on their website they may substitute. Which I’m fine with, but, why would you substitute a stark white flower for something that was originally dark? Would it not make more sense to someone to replace it with another darker flower? So, at this point I’m furious, between the employee’s attitudes and the guy wanting to argue with me. I’m the customer, you shouldn’t be arguing with me. You should be trying to find way to resolve my issue. Instead they wanted to tell me how this is a busy week and to pretty much get over it. I had already decided prior to this, that I was asking for a refund, I was not going to give a business that treated people so horribly a dime. So, I asked for a refund, he told me "gladly and don't come back." Well you don't have to worry about me coming back, and I will make sure to let anyone I know in the market for flowers not to go there either. Their customer service and product quality are terrible,...
Read moreNot only am I a bride, but I am a bread vendor in the midst of hurricane Florence; attempting to keep up with the high demands of keeping my stores stocked with product due to the storm. What better week to have my bridal portraits scheduled than the week of one of the biggest hurricanes projected to impact NC in many, many years? Looks like I know how to schedule things! With stressors high already with my business, the last call I wanted to get was from my photographer telling me she was not going to be able to make my bridal portraits (mind you I have already paid for the venue, and Clippers had already ordered my flowers & I had paid for them).. I was a wreck. I know we cannot predict a natural disaster, but that was a lot of money to throw away and I didn’t think I would be able to arrange it for another time, and reorder flowers.. BUT luckily, Julie and Donna at Clippers in Mooresville were absolutely amazing and we’re totally understanding and worked with me and put this stressed out bride at ease! Seriously I love this small town florist because they are so professional but have such a wonderful demeanor and really take the time to talk to you on a personal level. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone! I would consider myself to be very peculiar however Donna was super patient and was very informative as to which flowers she would special order for me. If you are looking for the small town feel but big time service, clippers is the...
Read moreCan't recommend this place enough. I ordered flowers for my anniversary to pick-up on Friday, but nothing was going right that day and I was running incredibly late. An hour before they closed, they called me to check in. I had to pick up my son on his way back from a field trip, but said I should be able to make it there before closing. I called them back 45 minutes later to let them know the charter bus was an hour late, and there was no way I could make it there in time now.
The lady on the phone asked how much more time I thought I might need...if the bus showed up in the next 5-10 minutes, I could be there about 20-25 mins after closing. She said "someone will be here, just knock on the door."
It took another half hour, and now there wasn't time to go pick up the flowers before the next thing. I called them to let them know. She really didn't want me or my wife to miss out on flowers and offered to hide them in a safe place outside the store I could come by and retrieve later that evening.
It was a really hectic, stressful day - but their grace and kindness was amazing, and meant so much to me.
My wife said they were "the most beautiful flowers I'd ever gotten her." We've been...
