Moraga Shopping Center has a lot of potential, but is largely underwhelming and would benefit from minor renovation. They are anchored by Safeway and a hardware store in addition to their farmer’s market and many personal care options. They have pretty solid sit-down and fast casual food options, including Mucho Wraps, Peninni’s, Bianca’s Delicatessen, Loard’s Ice Cream, and La Finestra. Mucho Wraps and Bianca’s are especially reasonably priced, high-quality option for burritos and sandwiches respectively. McCaulou's looks to be a nice department store, but has been completely abandoned since March 2020. CVS, Union Bank, and others have left, leaving large vacant spaces behind them.
They need more late-night and/or weekend dining options, as Mucho Wraps and Bianca’s are closed frequently over the weekend. I think they would greatly benefit from adding an old-fashioned American diner or fast-food place that serves cheesesteaks and burgers. They also could use a bakery and chicken sandwich shop. Chase bank has both a branch and ATMs. There are a couple of electric vehicle charging stations (Chargepoint) near the Chase bank. On Sundays there is a farmers market which has the usual selection of stalls plus specialist services such as knife sharpening (the guy is always busy though, so you usually have to reserve a spot).
