Recently went with my family, we had a five drink order and were second in line (literally second since they had just opened). We noticed everyone started getting their drinks before us and at one point we thought we heard our number be called so we walked up. I saw our drinks and so I started to collect them and one of the employees looked visibly upset that we were literally collecting our drinks (had our number on it and everything) that we paid for!! She told us that our drinks weren't ready yet. We asked if she had called our order cause we heard our number and she decided to respond with an attitude, looked over at her coworker like we did something wrong, and said no, that it was for a food order. They proceeded to forget three out of our five drinks and we were there for literally 30 minutes. Everyone else got tended to first. We went up and explained we were second in line and still hadn't received our drinks and the girl at the front again continued to respond with a rude tone and looked annoyed, reluctant to hear us out. At the very end of our exchange, another employee stepped in and finally agreed to give us our refund and we left. I understand things can get hectic as the rush hits that's something y'all can't control but y'all can control your attitudes and the way you treat your customers when you mess up. Instead of acting defensive when customers come up to you with a concern, try and humble yourself a little and maybe apologize or make it right. This is for the young girl working there, I think you've got a long way to go and this is only advice for you moving forward. Wish you the best but hopefully this serves as a wake up call and reminder to remain humble and kind as a person...
Read moreThe milk teas are okay, all of the fruit teas taste like overstepped jasmine tea. During my visit today, the cashier took cash, gave change, and returned to preparing beverages without washing their hands. I noticed another associate brush hair out of their face and return to preparing beverages without changing their gloves or washing their hands. I noticed a 3rd associate return from the restroom to the prep area without washing their hands. I am concerned about the ice and toppings station missing lids. There was a gallon of milk, a container of what appeared to be milk alternative, and whipped cream canister being stored on the countertops before I arrived, during the entirety of my visit and were not returned to refrigerators by the time i left. None of the associates are wearing a hat or hairnet to keep hair from contaminating the food. Employee hygiene and food safety appear to be severely lacking, I...
Read moreGreat boba, good/okay food. I recommend getting their more snack oriented food items if you are interested in eating here. Their other items are not bad, but unless you’re seriously in a pinch and seriously craving one, save the money so you can make another trip here for some boba! Employees are very kind and it is very easy to order. They have one kiosk and then you can order face to face if you wish. Lots of seating and very clean. I recommend their taro freezes, with the addition of fresh taro— delicious! Their online ordering system works okay, I would recommend just ordering once you get there, you do not have to wait long even if there is a large amount of people. Crowd seems to be mainly Lafayette and Moraga students, can be a little loud sometimes, but also a nice place to get a little work done if you enjoy the...
