Huge inventory and friendly staff but poor customer service and people who answer the phone don't know specifics about each department. My husband needed to copy car key and came in twice and called several times only to find out that their policy is not to cut blank keys provided by the customer. First time he came they did try to copy my key but machine didn't work and they told him only 1 person Brian knows how to work it, then we called a couple times to see when he'll be there and finally came in again and was told they can't cut my own blank key because they can't guarantee that it will work! They could have told me that on the phone the first time when I called to see if they can even cut this kind of key, it requires a special machine to cut it, but instead we had to make 2 trips and waste 2 weeks waiting for the 1 person who supposedly...

Nice place. Hope the setup in our Clayton store is not setup the same. Had VERY long narrow rows. Very overwhelming. Alot of things that old Yardbirds had. Didnt see any helpdesk like Yardbirds had. Miss that. Was approached couple of times asking if i needed help. But there was not alot of customers there. We will need more people to help answer questions in Clayton. Hopefully experienced people.

The nursery is VERY small. If they use the old nursery to its capacity that should help.

Prices.... A little on the high side but still cheaper then ACE.

Overall it is going to be an improvement. Hopefully they lay the store out a little better.

Overpriced compared to Ace and True Value. Incredibly rude managers if you happen to run into them, to the point where I won't be shopping here again unless it's an emergency and I can't get what I need from a smaller hardware store. And even then I'll probably just go out to Home Depot if I have to.

It's a shame because I LOVED Orchard Supply Hardware and was there at least twice a month. The nostalgia made me really try to love this place, but this Outdoor Supply Hardware isn't even a shadow of what the old OSH was.

Edited to add: when my last bad experience happened, I emailed the store and contacted OSH through their website the way they recommended in their reply to this review and never got a response from either method, so I do not think that they are actually interested in "the opportunity to make...
