Goodwill — Local services in Morehead

Avoid this place. Walked in this evening to shop. Wanted to look at framed photos/art/etc… There was an employee and her friend or relative blocking the section with this, both looking at the photos, using their phones, I assume googling something that they thought was valuable. After 5 minutes of them blocking off the entire bin/section, I said “excuse me, can I get through to browse the pictures” the non- employee said “no I might be buying this” I say “I’m not interested in that, I just want to browse the photos” and the employee and friend refused to move, continued to block the section, at which time I left.

I know that this location is known for saving “the good stuff” for friends and family, but didn’t know it went as far as employees being allowed to block shoppers from shopping the shelves so that their friends could spend as long as they wanted google lensing something that they could have just picked up and done elsewhere. I love goodwill. Not real thrilled about the prices considering everything they receive is donated. Some of the staff is super friendly, but I have also come across one employee who was quite rude. When I asked to use the dressing rooms, even though there were still open for 20 more minutes, She made a big deal about it, with some huffing and puffing and a loud sigh, to make sure I knew that she was aggravated that I even had the nerve to ask so close to closing time. So I made sure I took my sweet time trying on the 2 outfits I took in with me to try on. People like that shouldn't be working in a postion where they have to deal with the public. There was no reason she had to get mad just because I wanted to use the dressing room. It honestly made me mad, and I probably should have said something to her about her rudeness, but I decided against it, hoping that she wasn't like this everyday, and was just having a bad day. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I’m not from around here. I live in Ohio and I’m currently driving to Louisiana. So I stopped because I had to use the restroom and I was so amazed of how big the store was. I had cloths in my hand. I was willing to pay 100+ dollars there and a lady screamed the store is now closed so I asked another lady can I buy my stuff and she said we are closed so I had to put my stuff back!!! The worst customer service I have ever experienced!! I will be calling corporate tomorrow when they open!!! I work at subway and I would NEVER turn down a customer that walked in right before we closed!! How rude of everyone that worked there!!! You should be ashamed of...
