Home Centric — Local services in Morgantown

Update (6/29/2024): I went to HomeCentric today and the Home side was fine, but the Bealls/Burke Outlet is more like a Gabe’s than a TJ Maxx. I found one cute top, but it had a hole in the back that had been sewed together?? I think you have to watch what you buy. I also found two nice handbags 👜 and a cute fall bed for my dog. 🐕 HOWEVER, there was a stench in the air today on the Outlet side of the store. An employee was mopping the floor. There were no wet floor signs anywhere, but when she saw me, she did alert me that the floor was wet. She also then told me that they had had a sewage leak and that’s what she was cleaning up. And when I went to check out the cashier told me that he had been smelling sewage for about 2 1/2 hours and he couldn’t wait to get off work. I feel like if there was a sewage leak, they should have closed the store and not have the employees have to breathe and clean up that mess. It was really gross and definitely made me think less of the store overall. I’m removing a star from my original review. Hopefully you will treat your employees better. We came here just because we were in the area looking for a way to kill time. This place has some cute stuff at decent prices. Not my favorite home goods store...
