Experience was from 2019: I'll keep this short as possible because honestly I don't really want to re-live the hassle of dealing with Rob and Bradley. Overall, avoid this furniture store - it's just not worth the time or the hassle. For us, we definitely will not be returning.
The first delivery was only part of the furniture - I get it, things happen. They were actually super nice and sent a temporary dinette set for us to use. This spoke volumes at the time and definitely made me feel a lot better while we waited for our furniture. However it just went down hill from there. Ultimately we did not get all of our furniture until August 7th (order placed end of May). Prior to that we had to sleep in our guest bedroom, because they thought it was appropriate to install the bed's platform slats without the rails - making it structurally unsound and not safe. I was home during installation - they discussed that the rails were missing, Rob left to make a phone call, then everything proceeded as usual. I thought they found the rails, not that they decided to go ahead and not bring the concern to me. Completely unacceptable. When bringing the concern to Rob and Bradley, they tried to sweet talk it over. Bradley was incredibly rude and dismissive about the poor experience we had. Classic victim blaming and manipulation - he claimed he was hurt that we were upset?! I digress - save yourself the hassle, find a different store with better values.
The store gets to keep a star as when properly assembled the furniture is pretty decent.
Update to come detailing our difficulty of receiving our furniture, troubling discussions with staff, improper furniture assembly and more to justify the 1-star review. I’m leaving my original review as is below to show how first impressions are not always as they seem.

My husband and I recently moved into an apartment in Cary (we moved from Boston, originally from New Jersey). We were looking to add a bedroom furniture set + dinette for our eat in kitchen space. We researched stores in the area online and went to a couple other furniture stores prior. When we walked in, we knew we wanted to buy from here.
On the way over, it does feel like you're driving behind businesses and there is not a typical large glass door entrance - don't let that sway you. Outside was nicely displayed patio furniture, which clued me into the style matching the aesthetic I was going for.
At the end of the day, what truly sold us on the store was the experience in their show room and largely thanks to Bradley. After we entered, there were plenty of displays for each category (dining rooms, bedrooms, living rooms etc.). You can tell there was a lot of thought and attention to detail from the placement of the furniture to the art on the wall. They have a nice variety in different styles and price ranges. Impressively there is a large touch screen online catalogue. You can mix and match, pick certain components of different suites, and it clearly displays the prices per individual item - it completely changes the shopping experience. The technology works beautifully and intuitively. Further, Bradley truly knows so much about the furniture, and is not a sales person who tries to talk you into more expensive furniture.
The next morning we came back, but I had some concerns about the original bedroom set - the footboard came up too high for my preference. Bradley gladly walked us through other options. We did really like one set, but it was full wood and out of price range for this set of furniture. He gave as a great alternate option. While the store holds many furniture available even same day delivery, ours will take 7-10 business days, which is completely fine. However if you need something fast, Bradley can easily explain which is available for same day delivery.

Read moreI bought a bed frame in full from this store. I called but the mailbox was full, I used their chat feature and requested a call back and no one responded. Over a week later I call and someone calls me back. I ask to cancel my order since I never received a status update or anything. I only received a copy of my invoice. She said no refunds and my furniture will be delivered sometime tomorrow. Your websites chat function doesn’t even work and no one called me back. I called again for the second time days later. I found out Ashley Furniture has same furniture and it’s $100 cheaper. Idk how you can call yourself “discount furniture” if you are not the most affordable. Long story short, if you purchase something they will not give refunds, no returns, no exceptions. Their customer service is not up to par. I received a second call to tell me they will call me in 4 hours to verify the time the furniture will be delivered. Why not tell me now? I shopped around looking for this furniture and I wish I never purchased anything from this place. I do not recommend and will not purchase anything from here again. Your website isn’t informative or user friendly. You should really indicate that orders take 2-3 weeks for delivery. It’s ridiculous to see how unproductive and supportive your process is for a new customer.
UPDATE TO OWNER RESPONSE**
First, I do not appreciate the owner claiming I am lying when in fact I did not. I did call. Maybe your system was not operating correctly because of the pandemic or maybe you didn't have it set up correctly. Unsure, however, I did call.
Secondly, your furniture was NOT cheaper (even with the free delivery). When I posted this it was during the time that another company was also offering free deliver and it was still $100 cheaper.
Again, claiming I am lying when in fact I am not. I wrote my feelings towards your company and you can take it for face value. I still agree that your website is not user friendly and I felt unsupported in the process. I do agree it was during a pandemic but if you are accepting orders online then as a customer I feel as though I should be able to receive the services I expect to receive.
Regardless, I already read your strict policy but, I didn't shop at the other stores (again) before paying with your company. I checked the other stores after I paid. So, I missed out on a deal and that is why I wanted my money back. However, as you highlighted in your strict policy that once a customer pays you, you hold on to the money regardless of how they feel. Even if they decide to change their mind the same day. Also, I can forward you my email if you would like proof of that since you think I just get online and lie all day.
Lastly, I feel as though your response to my feelings during a pandemic when trying to save money, was sad, disheartening, and unappealing. My reviews are to inform future customers of my experience. You telling me my experience was incorrect when you weren't there, you weren't the one I spoke to on the phone (the day of my delivery), and you don't know anything about me, that's the sad and rude part. Read moreThey have repeatedly lied to us and dismissed us, and we still don't have any of our items over a month later. They won't answer their phone. Voicemail box has been full for weeks. They won't give us a delivery date and keep saying "it'll be delivered next week" for the past few weeks.
You can get the same exact furniture at Ashley’s Furniture for the same price. Ashley's will price match and deliver for free within 2-3 days. This Discount Furniture charges $129 for delivery, it will take months, and they are not honest people. They also make it seem like it's a good price, but it's not. Read the exact specifications of what they're selling you and then go to Ashley's Furniture to compare.
On September 14, we ordered a bed, mattress, and box spring in the store. We need this asap and we were promised delivery in 2 weeks. After we paid, we were handed a receipt that stated "ETA 2-4 weeks". We brought up our concern about the timeframe and were told that it was just for unforseen delays. The receipt also stated "All sales are final. No refunds." which was never communicated to us before we paid.
On October 4, we visited the store and spoke to a woman at the desk. We said it’s been 3 weeks. She insisted we had only been waiting 2 weeks and also said it would be delivered to the store on Monday, October 13, so it "would still be within the 2-4 week period". We told her this was all incorrect and she continued to gaslight us. She said it would arrive to the store on Monday and she would text us the delivery date that day. She obviously knew they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so this was another lie.
After numerous unanswered calls on Oct 12, we emailed them on Oct 13. They responded two days later and ignored our concerns. They said it will arrive next week. We keep being told it will be “next week”. This is unacceptable and it is already weeks late. They are still not in possession of the items. They literally order it from Ashley's Furniture and they seem to have no control when the items are shipped to their store even though they act very confident on the date it'll arrive in store.
Please don't waste your time, money, and sanity on this place!
EDIT on 10/23/25: They refuse to respond to us. It's been 8 days since they last responded to our email. The last thing they said was it would be delivered next week and they ignored everything else we said. They refuse to refund us or give us what we paid for. And now they won't even respond! They are scammers!
