I just received awful service at this location. I requested the Lebanese platter (the most expensive one) and wanted tzatziki in place of the tabbouleh and the server was adamant about me ordering the Jamsin platter instead if I wanted to get different sides. I was frustrated because at a different location I made this same request with no issues, and it being the most expensive platter of their selection I thought this wouldn't be an issue, but they would not allow me to make the substitution --- what happened to the customer is always right? Then upon checkout, I had to wait several minutes for the cashier since he was waiting for someone else to pay for their order. While I was waiting in line, the people who ordered after I did received their meals first and I was rudely told by the cashier to move so others could pay as if I was supposed to know this. I was still waiting for my food while others had continue to receive theirs --- and mine was to-go! Also, no one bothered to either put in plasticware for my order or at least tell me where it was so I left without them in a rush to get back to work. I am very dissatisfied with this encounter and feel this should have been handled much better than it was. I think it's ridiculous they were unwilling to do my side substitution given that side IS on other platters as well. They need to learn to cater better to their customers wants/needs -- especially since we're paying for the food that we want. Now I have a side that will go untouched, and feel like I did not get my money's worth because of this. I will not be returning to...
Read moreI eat from this location pretty frequently but today will be my last! I’m typically served by owner or the young AA man that works there. Today another worker who I’ve never seen before( probably a new hire) served me and I’m doing what I can not to call the health inspector. When I walked into order the young lady who was working with some pots and wearing gloves. She turned around and asked me what she could get me and I ordered a platter with three sides. I asked for a salad which she poured the remnants of a previous salad into my box, that was fine it when I asked for her to add more lettuce leaves to my salad she proceeded to use the same clothes she had just been handling the pots to pick out a few leaves from the serving box and then use her hands to “massage” the new leaves into the already made salad that was sitting in my box. With the same hand she turned around to grab the flying basket to get the fries I ordered which look like they’ve been sitting in all morning and put my fries into the box from the basket. Again with the same hand she then dipped her fingers into the rest of the salad to place my toppings. She grabbed the serving spoon for the chicken with the same hands and put the chicken into the pot. She then turned around to do the same thing to the next customer. Maybe I’m being picky but I’d rather not have every surface of the restaurant served in my meal. We left and will likely not return unless the two clean employees I mentioned...
Read moreYesterday, after a very exhausting day, I was really craving shawarma. The place I usually order from was already closed, so I took a chance and ordered from a new spot. It paid off.
I placed my order directly at the restaurant, not online. When I checked the website, it only allowed me to choose a pick-up time for Monday, even though it was Saturday. It might be a system error. I just wanted to let you know, as it seems like this could cause you to lose some customers.
It wasn’t an issue for me to come in and order in person. The place looked very clean and neat, and most importantly, the staff was incredibly friendly. Everyone was smiling, and there was a genuine warmth in the atmosphere. It might sound strange, but we often visit places where we feel like "just another customer." Here, it felt different.
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Panini and Zucchini Zaki. Both dishes were incredibly well-prepared.
The Chicken Shawarma was put together perfectly—just the right amount of sauce and spices. There was almost no dripping—neither grease nor sauce. The Zucchini Zaki was also very tasty, though I found it a bit greasy, probably because of the cheese.
Overall, I will definitely come back, especially since this place is just 5 minutes...
