I called yesterday to give my review to a staff member and maybe it will reach the manager but in case it didn't.... This is my review. I made a reservation for my husband's 40th birthday. The number of people for this surprise birthday dinner was 11. The reservation was set for 9pm on 08/09/2024. I told everyone to arrive at 8:30pm due to traffic. When everyone arrived at the restaurant, we basically sat ourselves at the table. There was no follow up on who will be our server. While sitting at the table we noticed that a family was seated after us received their drinks and bread right away. While we waited 40 minutes later after being seated, we finally were greeted by our server. I had to go to the front of the restaurant where I asked, "Will I have a server at my table?" Every drink that was given to us was flat. No type of carbonation or frizz in the drink. We had to send our drinks back. The young lady stated that someone will be there shortly to serve us. We finally were greeted by our server Cam, who was pleasant and professional. We ordered our appetizers which came out in a good amount of time. We then ordered our entrees. Everyone's entrees at the table were cold. Cam then grabbed all the plates that was cold and took it back to the kitchen. Our French fries, tater tots, and my pasta was cold. The only reason why we stayed at the restaurant because of the closing of the other restaurants nearby. It was too late of the night to go to a nice restaurant without a reservation. This was a celebration. There was no acknowledgement of my husband's birthday which I told them when I made the reservation. There was no formation of team members seeing a "Happy Birthday Song" to my husband. The only good time was being around family members. I have been at this location two other times and it was great experiences with birthday dinners. This was not a great experience, my food was awful, my drink was flat, and if it wasn't for Cam trying to produce the best experience possible it would have been a bad night. My issue is communication amongst staff was not formerly communicated properly. I should not be seating myself and then left to defend for myself to figure out what my next move is. Noone after my party should be allowed to be serviced before our table. Let me just say presentation is everything. Your presentation for food, service, and overall experience should be top tier. You should take pride in what you bring out to your customers. Pride was not...
Read moreIf I could give a lower rating I would. I made a reservation and was told a week before that they had to cancel it. I planed the event a month ahead of time because I had to send out invitations. They called the week before and told me they had to cancel and we eventually agreed to do it later that evening since people were coming from afar to visit and it was too late of notice for me to change plans. Also they canceled because someone else made a reservation the same day and time as me but did theirs a month before me. On the day of about 5 minutes before I arrived to the restaurant a waitress called and informed me that they had to push my reservation back because they had been behind all day. I informed the manager that I was literally pulling into the parking lot and that’s such a late notice especially since you’ve been behind all day and you stated that yourself. I also informed her that both times of my reservation having an issue was on the restaurant/management and not me. Manager decided to get very hostile with me after I stated this is something they could have controlled if they would’ve called me more than 5 minutes before I arrived knowing you’ve been behind since the reservation before me which was at 3:45 pm and mine was at 8:00 pm. They 3:45 reservations sat at their table an hour before they ordered food says the manager. The Manger offered 3 appetizers and I eventually asked for my meal free because she told me 8:20 we would be seated and we didn’t get seated until about 8:40. Not only that but the manager blamed another manger for allowing me to make a reservation of 20 and said they usually don’t allow more than 10 . Which once again is not my mistake because they should’ve told me when I booked online and when they canceled the first time. The waiters and waitress then got everyone’s food mixed up and proceeded to tell us that we don’t understand how ordering works. The manager at the time also continued to make smart remarks out of anger while waiting on us. One guest said “I thought you said 3 appetizers” because the manager was bringing out another one. The manager said “they asked for more so I’ll show them more” with a bit of a neck roll and eye roll. Out of 20 people, this was the first time at firebirds for 17. This was also the last at this...
Read moreMy family and I will never eat at this establishment again.
We had a reservation for 8pm on 03/04/2022 at Firebirds in Morrisville to celebrate my mother's birthday.
Let's start with our server Nick who share he had a birthday the day before. He did introduce his self and took our drink order that took 20 minutes to bring. The drink orders were Lemon Drop and water with lemon, water with lemon, Arnold Palmer, another Lemon Drop and Water w/ lemon, Water w/Lemon, Lemonade, box Apple Juice and kid's Sweet Tea. None of the waters came with lemon, we received 3 waters and 1 Sprite, the Arnold Palmer was not good. That's because we learned after the fact the Arnold Palmer is not made with "Sweet Tea" it's made with "Unsweet Tea" per Nick. The Lemon Drop was not pleasant to me but my mother seemed to be ok with hers. Not a good start. Nick came back with 15-20 minutes after serving the drinks to take our food order. We opted out of appetizers to start and ordered our main courses. My father: BRUSCHETTA CHICKEN PASTA, My mother:BAJA SHRIMP PASTA, Myself and brother:HONEY GARLIC CHICKEN 2 kids meals, Sister: RED SNAPPER Niece: Cheeseburger.
We waited over 30 minutes to half of the dinner party's food being cool to touch! The Red Snapper entrée was COLD! The BRUSCHETTA CHICKEN PASTA was COLD! The Shrimp Pasta was COLD! The kids BROCCOLI was COLD! Its like they held the food, I am assuming, until the other food was done. Sara, the manager, walked by and asked us was everything okay and my father immediately told her "no" and expressed our dissatisfaction with the food being cold. She took the plates back and guess what she allowed her kitchen staff to do?! Place the food in a pan to reheat it and serve it to us! How disrespectful and lowdown as an establishment can you be?! We were absolute disappointed and frustrated that we had to leave. No one finished their food even the food that was prepared accordingly.
My father also never got his beer that he ordered with his entrée.
Sara should be ashamed to allow her staff to operate and serve food to the public like that. The reheating of the food was definitely the cherry on top.
I can say without a doubt we will NEVER visit this...
